This Mazda RX-7 is a BEAST! We had a lot of fun filming this one and we hope you enjoy watching it. Our apologies for the audio quality during the second half - we've made some investments to prevent this in future episodes. Speaking of episodes, if you enjoyed the video be sure to check out our other amazing rides: tinyurl.com/RR-Playlist
Aaron is a god send to the local Rx-7 community without him mine wouldn't run and id still be terrified of anything going wrong. Thanks to him i feel like i can enjoy my car and if anything ever gets out of hand working on it i can always count on him to save my ass
700+hp has to be a handful, mine was wild at ~350. I would love to know what kind of fuel/ knock suppresion he is using and what kind of cooling upgrades there are. building a half bridge for it now and setting up for e85. nice car would love to hear more about it.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! I appreciate the feedback and have changed it up some in future episodes. Will still check out the channel you recommend. Truly appreciate all your support! 🙏
Aaron's an awesome dude. it was a decent video. try to stay away from some of the cheesiness such as the fireworks and clouds moving. it's amateur. keep things clean and simple. the wind is a cheap easy fix but looks a little bad but next time you see me in person i can show you some inexpensive easy things to do.
We had a blast with Aaron! I appreciate your comments and willingness to help. Thanks again for your support and I look forward to hopefully seeing you soon. 👍
You must be talking about hp rated at the crank. The GTX42 won't flow 900 to the wheels on a 2 rotor. Just saying. 750rwhp+30-40psi yes(depending on type of dyno mustang/Dynojet, etc). Rob Dahms 3 rotor made 760rwhp with the exact same turbo, and his manifold pressure was pushing back hard at that boost level.
If he has the GTXR4294, that model flows 110lb of air max, the same as the BWEFR9280. That's if it doesn't flatten out beforehand with all the back pressure. In the video he said he ran it past 40psi but didn't see it on the dyno. 110 lbs on the Garrett is 45psi, which if it makes it there is 820 rotary RWHP. 30-35psi is where I'd keep it, I don't buy the "20% more hp" past 30, especially if the dyno didn't show it. I'm not knocking it at all, it's definitely a beast and a complete build with the Haltech, etc. I'm in the middle of a simular build as his, different turbo. The 900hp title caught my attention, guys chasing those numbers use bigger turbos, like the BWS483, which flows 125lbs of air. There is an FD 13b on here(youtube) Mike Motta, making 839hp at the wheels with 30psi.
Thanks for taking the time to provide all this information. Maybe if Aaron sees these comments he can chime in. Otherwise I wish you the best in your build! Love to see some pictures/progress of it.
port work is going to affect this heavily. stock ports at x psi are going to flow significantly less than a semi pp, then it is what size ports. exhaust bp shouldn't be a problem with an 1.30 AR hotside. my big question is what kind of fuel is he running and is he using AI.
@@7sins979 , the output of the turbo is the limiting factor, thats a fact. This isnt even the GT4202. Nobody even considers a high horsepower build with anything near stock ports. In the video the owner of the car expresses the need to change to a turbo with a larger exhuast wheel. Nobody is going to hit 900+ rwhp on a 2 rotor using a 100-110lb max turbocharger and E85.
Thanks for the feedback. I’ll try to add more exhaust and driving scenes in the future. There are a couple midway through, but something to work on for sure! 👍

The car is beautiful. Building a good engine, good tuning, supportive mods, proper maintenance and premix =reliable rotary car.
+Spinningtriangles brap brap couldn’t agree more! Hope you enjoyed the episode. 👍
I did thank you. I wish you would post some more in car video
+Spinningtriangles brap brap thank you for the feedback. I’m still working on perfecting these videos, feedback like this really helps. 🙂

you think its ideal to make 700whp on a large street port ?
@@grkpk123 no the power band will probably be narrow.
@@grkpk123 yes a race port or large street port is the ideal port for these applications, if you cant go peripheral port that is.
One nice RX7 and owner.
Most def! 🔥
nicely done!
Thanks!
Beautiful car! Would have love to see this thing do a few pulls on the highway or something!! lol
Maybe one day we'll do a follow up episode 👍

Needs a stock wing.
Might help with some of that rear wheel slip 👍🤷♂️🤣

761.29 was the last dyno I saw Aaron post on Facebook but that was a lower boost.

900? lol.
Little 13b's can produce BIG POWER. With big enough turbos and boost. E85 probably essential
cool car too bad you didnt show any driving footage or sound basically

Way too much editing. Got bored of it after two minutes. Next video
