When I was a kid I wanted the AT AT of these series so much, unfortunately I could not afford one and my parents got me this one. At first I did not like it, but when I discovered the sounds and lights It was pretty amazing, The thing I liked the most was the "fight position" with the X form of the wings. This then became one of my favorite toys I ever had. While I watched the video and heard those sounds again it made me remember when I used to play with it all around the house, great memories :') Thanks for sharing and great review.

It's such a cool vehicle. I got mine last week. I found one for $50 MISB on eBay so I went straight ahead and bought it. It's one of the best, if not THE best X-wing toy ever made (appart from the AF X-wings) - no floppy wings on this one !. Great reviews as usual Dave ! Keep it up !.
Looks like the S-foils don't sag nearly as much as your Red Leader ship. I wonder how they'll fare on the Wedge version, since with the removable R2, it looks to be the same mold. I'm so torn, lol. I want to get whichever X-Wing is best.
