Boy this makes me feel better about that impulsive purchase I made last week to buy 4-16x50SF (non illum.) on clearance sale for $450.00! Zeroed it last Monday and tested it out to 300 yards. So far, so good. Will see how it holds up but it's supposedly got a really good Lifetime Warranty. Heck, that's HALF what I paid for my Burris XTR II 3-15!
Im going to get the same to put on a 223. I have other Nikons that I like and also have an xtr ii that is my go to. How do you like it so far and is it worth buying without actually looking through the scope first?
Hi I have a nikon x1000 and have a question for you. When you lift up on the elevation turrety and then set it back. Sometimes it is not aligned with the hash marks on the turret body. If you google images 'x1000 turret" you will see a few of them like this. Im assuming this is how they come. Seems really shoddy. Any idea why they are like that? thanks
All good! You don't have any bias or bullshit in your videos so was hoping for an honest review! Hoping the eye box isn't as tight as the BTR on full power.
I was at Cabela's today and had a look through the scope. I have four Viper PSTs Gen 1 and I can say without fear of contradiction that the glass on the sample I looked through was not in the same league as the Vortex. The scope seemed to me to be somewhat cloudy and dull, I think they cut the corner in the glass area.
My favorite scope
And is there a special tool needed or just an Allen wrench?
Where do you change out the battery on the FX 1000?
Thanks for the video. After seeing this video, I went out and looked at one myself. I was impressed.
Too bad you were not able to take a video of the tracking test. Anyhow. Thanks for posting.

I just bought the same 4-16×50sf. Have been watching videos all morning to make myself feel better about the purchase😀
Thank you for reviewing this scope. Looking forward to seeing the results after your testing. Curious about the toughness.

You should try to review the new Athlon Midas Tac.
I liked and subbed still waiting for the rest of the review on this scope especially the glass and durability.
Glass review should be soon.
Nice job! Great job on tracking test as well.
Did you end up testing the zeiss and swarovski scopes? Not uploading videos anymore.
Jack Vliet yes I did. The videos will be coming. I’ve been busy hunting.
Hey are the specs on on the website did you open the box and it has all the specs inside the box on the manual
How has durability been? Especially on heavier calibers?
Gary Jones I didn’t like the scope enough to keep it around long enough to say.
I hit the subscribe button. Great video!
Very nice . Thanks
Good review man. Are you gonna test the Ares ETR?
Probably not. It’s too heavy for me. I’ve got a Zeiss V4, V6, and a Swarovski X5 to test.

How’s this do for 100 yarrds to 300
I sighted one from 100, 200,300,400 and it tracked perfect. Only couple clicks off from my app but that could be the settings I have in the app

The glass is these is FAR superior to a Gen 1 PST. You need to take them outside.
Made in??
