Do you have to reprogram the switch once it’s in. I was just told by my mechanic it’ll cost like 819$ for them to replace it and reprogram it. So I’m curious

So my drivers side power window switch has a little bit of a short. But when I buy a new switch when I hook it up the driver's side switch will roll down the passenger window not the driver's window

I switched out an entire door (which had rust and a dent) which only had one automatic switch compared to the original that had two and now the front passenger window would not work. I then tried swapping out the original switch (which worked fine) to install in the replacement door and now both front windows and the power locks wont work. Any idea what to do?

I did this in a 2009 Nissan Altima and the new lock and unlock buttons do not work. All the wires are plugged in right and everything was done exactly how this video showed. What is wrong?

I put my new switch in because my driver side window wouldn’t roll down, and now the passenger side switch is rolling down the driver side window lol
