That is correct. I volunteer up there as a brakeman and I have loaned the RS3K to the 325 for this season. Next time I run into you at NMMRC I'll tell you more. lol
BNSF5608 I know, do you think you could help me upload a custom horn if I get a loksound Direct through the NMMRC later? I probably wont order one until winter.
Train crew is all volunteer, MTM might be taking new recruits soon, so stay tuned to the trainride.org website. You'll start as a switchman, work up to a conductor and later engineer. I was able to do so in 3 years. Give it your best, we'd love to have you. I love volunteering there. You can also come visit our train and ride in the cab. If I'm engineer, I'd be happy to have you ride along.

lol do you collect horns? I would love to start with an RS3L but they're too expensive
cooltrains321
Actually I think a Loksound decoder with the RS3L is the closest I can get lol.
cooltrains321
Sort of. I only have an RS3K and a K3LA, and that's probably about as far as the collection will go, kind of an expensive hobby.
Khang Lu Loksound can upload custom audio, I have RS3Ks on a couple engines of mine.

You should take a visit there, just ask them for a ride in the cab
I love this place!
Midwestern Railfan
I love volunteering here. lol
lol the engineer was like "You're like Anthony and Dan who can both identify horns by their looks, they both volunteer here."
cooltrains321
And yet Peter (the engineer) tells me has like 10 horns or something but can only identify a couple. lol
i would love to drive a train

So all you did was ask and you got the ride?
