Now this is the best easy and cheaper idea to do so! And the materials is just easily to buy in any hardware shop ..got my way to create my eldest daughter 18th birthday backdrop tools😍 thank you so much for sharing your video
Love the middle support! Thanks for sharing. Straight to the point lol.
Thank you!
Thank you so much...your video is the most complete of all...thank you again....muahhhh
You're welcome!
This video is perfect. I refer all of my subscribers who has a question about my frame to this video.

You're welcome! :)
Ingenious, looks great too.
Thank you!!
Thank you for explaining step by step and doing such an excellent job
You are blessed !!!!
Thank you 😊
love this version! A lot of people have just shown the 1 frame, no middle pole, but I like the idea of the middle one for stability and the hight is great for a lot of occasions. I'm doing one for our son's 1st birthday party and I think this is simple enough but still has a great wow factor.
Thanks so much for sharing!!
very good
I just made this myself and honestly, it was so friggin e-z! All together, I spent $25.96 at my local Home Depot and one of the employees was more than happy to help me cut the pvc. if I had to cut it, I would have needed a ratchet, a tape measure and a marker to mark the measurement intervals on the pvc. I'm using these for a backdrop to be used during a panel discussion. For real. His instructions are super simple. I listened twice: once for the supply list and a second time for the instructions. If you need a cheap alternative to a $200 pipe and drape system, give this a try! Thanks for the great tutorial👍👍👍

Thank you super easy
Ohhh thank u so much exactly what I needed, so affordable this will cost me nothing less than 3500 naira here😀
You're welcome!
I just found your channel thanks for sharing.
People... I'm not trying to hate on the video, I'm here simply to help others. Some people in the comments noted that their bill came up to $25. Some said $50-$80, depending on the region. *There are inexpensive photography backdrops that can achieve this for about the same price.* And you don't need to go and shop for pipes and work with all these small parts. The backdrops come with a nice carrying case. You can easily take them apart for portability with far fewer pieces than what was used in this project. And the stands will look much more professional than pipes. The stands are also more stable than this design. If someone steps onto the fabric or a tipsy person staggers into it, it will come down easier than the dedicated stands because they have wider bases than these. You can also use sand bags with either design. Good luck.
Anthony Mitch you’re right ! I did a google search and found one for $35! Thank you so much!🙏🏽❤️
@@Alicianycole hi there. Would you mind sharing/send to me where you got it pls. I so badly need it asap for my husband's surprise bday party. thanks

That was like my third video ever made. 😂😂😂
I need a backdrop holder for my job
Good job.I have a curtain that is. 20ftwide by 10ft long is it possible you can help me with the measurements.
Do you have a tutorial for a round backdrop as well. ? Thank you for sharing.
Great video, please post the exact number of each item needed. I have a purchased back drop and it is flimsy.I'd love to try yours.
Can you post the measurements of the pvc pipe lengths
Hi! Care to share all the pipe measurements? Thank you :)
Hey Scott, thank you very much for this video this is awesome! I have question, what if I want to do a double drape? So essentially the same legs but with 2 top pieces
Thanks a lot for the vidéo👍.
Please would you specify the exact centimetere of each tube ?
😍😍😍👍👍👍
This can be taken apart correct? It would be very helpful for storage purposes.
+keverdeen395 sure can. I do not glue anything together so it breaks down perfect.
Thank you so much for the info,if i want to make a smaller one can i use less pipe, what do you think give me an idea please and thank you 🙏
Yep, you sure can
What an awesome video, I’m still a bit lost though as to the size pvc I’ll need? Looking to drape and entire room
+PrinceZion Boyce thanks! I'd get 1 inch PVC pipes for an entire room
*Technically Speaking
Thanks for your response and if I need to go higher 10 feet?
Would 1 inch take the weight of 3 drape panels each section?
Thanks again...really appreciate it
+PrinceZion Boyce yeah, it should. If not, you could put dowel rods in the PVC pipe if needed
Thank you very much
If I substituted the 2 elbow connectors with t-connectors would there be room to add a second bar so I could hang two rows of curtains (going for a two toned looked with sheer curtains)?
+Deana Speer I think so, I'm having some trouble picturing that, but you might need a wider footprint to help sustain that weight
can you supply the exact measurements, i like the cent bar for more stability, thank you
Hi! First pinned comment on the video has the measurements used. :)
Can I use this backdrop for open air birthday ??
Yeppers!
@@TechnicallySpeaking thank u
Can u tell me the height and width for this PVC backdrop with cintemetres (c.m) plzz and the pipe diameter??
Can you give me the measurements for the pieces I am gonna make sic of these...only one arch..
.but I want to put curtains down both sides of reception area to make it smaller..
.three on each side
Any chance there is a problem with this video that you could fix? I watched it, saved it for later viewing, and now it won't load. I really liked the design of this backdrop and was hoping to make a few for a party. Thanks.
I was able to play it so I'm not sure! :(
i am in Canada Toronto,i could not find these pipes in any store,i check Rona, home hardware, home depot,Canadian tier
Hi! Can you please share the pipe measurements you used in the video. Thank you so much!
Hiya Maria!
I just pinned the measurements, but here they are :)
10 - T Connectors
2 - Couplings
2 - Elbow connectors
3 - six foot long PVC pipes
2 - three foot long PVC pipes
2 - two foot long PVC pipes
14 - six inch long PVC pipes
Thank you so much! Scott :)
Maria Elenore Espinosa you're so welcome!
Hi Scott, I was impressed with your video! I'm looking to build something around 12' tall, do you think it will stay up? I'm worry about the stability if it gets too tall. Let me know your thoughts.
Thank you!
Miki
Scott Peachey
Thank you for the quick reply! Since yours was 6ft tall I will make my base twice bigger.
Thank you again!
Hi. I would like to know what size connectors do I need for the elbows, t-connectors and the couplings. Enjoyed your video🙂
+Karen Anthony hi Karen! 1 inch connectors with all of them :)
*Technically Speaking Thank you for the quick response. On my way to Home Depot now. Again Thanks🙂
could I make this wider by adding more middle stands for stability? if so how far from each other do i have to put each stability pipe(stand)? I'm trying to make a backdrop 20ft wide or so. I worry that it can be pushed over and it falling completely because I'm using it as a divider.
Thank you for your quick response!
I noticed two different size pipes in the comments do i need yo purchase 3/4" pvc pipes or 1" pvc pipes??
Could you list the specific sizes of the cut pipes , from the very long ones to the medium sized ones, to the more smaller pipes? Home Depot needs more information before they can help me :(
This may be a dumb question lol, but in reference to the 14-16 range of 6 pieces .. Should I buy 14,15, or 16 pieces to make it exactly how you made it?
Will this fit a backdrop that’s 7ft long & 5ft wide?
You can make it work for that, yes
Is it possible to make a 10ft x 10ft
Absolutely. Just add more support beams
Hi. Would the total dimensions be 6ft by 10 ft?
Thank you!
How much weight can it hold?.
If you had more supports in the middle probably 8-12 lbs
im kinda curious... what shop do you buy your materials from? Even if you're in the USA - which I assume you are located.... $25 is not even close to cost of building this. (Hypothetically speaking, the difference in the dollar US/CA. is less than 100%) my cost here in Canada btw, would be at least!!! - $80.00 thanks for the great "How to" video anyways!!! :)
WOW!! We Canadians sure pay a hefty price here... Honestly, After calling the Home Depot here where I live, they told me: 1) they don't carry the 1" stuff and; 2) before taxes the order (55 feet of tubing + fittings) came out to 83ish dollars - that's before taxes here!
Makes it hard here to do simple projects when they see yea coming through the door - sorta speak! (Thanks for your reply btw!) :)
What is the size of the stand?
How do you attach the curtain to hide most of the pipe?
I used clips
What size T connectors? 3/4 or
How many pvc pipes did you get before you cut them down?
+Karen Anthony I got 30 feet because it was so cheap to buy
*Technically Speaking Okay. Thank you🙂
Is it possible that you can write the exact measurements and count of everything?
thanks a lot for the quick response! I'm literally heading to Home Depot in an hour for the materials.
Great DIY project for us crafty people!
Great video do you remember the measurement for each pipe so I can get lowes to cut the exact measurements for me. Again awesome
hi how r u on the pvc pipes u haf 33 to 34 inches can u write the exact number of poles u had cut in each size n great video by the wad☺
Scott Peachey what size are the connectors and elbow pieces
Thanks for sharing such a great tutorial and such a quick response😊 Happy holidays
Can this be used outdoors?
Yes. Just weigh down the legs
@@TechnicallySpeaking How?
@@littlefifths7760 sand bags or just bricks
@@TechnicallySpeaking How do I attach them to the legs?
Hi, my name is Rhonda. I just viewed your video on constructing a PVC backdrop. That is exactly what I need. However, could you tell me if I wanted to make mine 6.5 ft to 7.0 ft tall, and kept your other dimension for the other pieces,, do you think it would hold up OK. or should I make adjustments to any other of the pieces to accommodate it? Also I noticed in your video you said the width was about 8ft, but I figure with your (2) 3 ft sections plus (2) 2 ft. sections it would come out to 10 ft. I don't understand that part. I need to make this by tomorrow, so if you can find time to reply, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much in advance!
It should hold up ok, but you could always add more supports if you wanted. Like another vertical tower or thicker PVC
Thanks for your reply. Did you notice my comment about yours being 10 ft. but you said 8 ft. could you clarify that? Thanks.
I did see it, and honestly I need to go back and rewatch the video to see exactly what I did say because I can't remember 😂🤦♂️
In your video you said it was approximately 8 ft. wide. but if you add the 2 section cross bars together which is (2) 3 ft sections plus (2) 2 ft. sections it would come out to 10 ft. That is what I did not understand.
Ah ok, I understand now. I'm not sure why I said that then
Does it more stable if we use connector betweet 2 pipes compared to just one long pipe in minutes 1:58
Yes it would
Technically Speaking great.. thanks! im planning to diy a pipe canopy/chuppah with drape.. afraid it wont carry the weights or slightly bending without using connector
How do you put the curtain on top pipe?
I had a curtain that had a sewn loop in it and just ran the pipe through that
I wanted to create one that is half the size, what would I not get?
Probably only half the items from the listed pinned comment
So would you just take the middle items out?
What size are the couplings ?
One inch
We’re do I get this
Pieces can be bought at a hardware store
What is ur PVC pipes's diameter ????
Hi
just wondering what is the inches on the diameter of the pipe and connectors. are they 3/4" pipes?
hi there kinda curious about the same question ...so i undeerstand you used 1 inch pvc piping but for the elbows, connectors (t connectors) did you have to get them a few inches bigger so they would fit into one another ? for example...if i purchased the 1nich piping would i also get 1inches for my connectors an elbows??
oh okay thank you for responding so fast.
Thank u !!!🤗🤗
