This is one of my favorite songs on this album. His voice is an acquired taste for sure, but it is amazing what he is able to convey- sometimes he sounds strained, angry, desperate, but then suddenly you realize the vulnerability behind that and it just really makes for some powerful music. Would love to meet him, or hear him live.
it took me a while to get used to his voice, but once i did it opened up a world of the most amazing imaginative worlds i experienced through him. He is so talented.

I did my first eurotrip last year. I was alone, and on the second month, I found myself in Amsterdam. I was about to smoke a joint in a coffeeshop for the first time. I was fairly excited. I stepped into a coffeeshop called Picasso. I bought a pre-roll and a cappuccino, and proceeded to sit on the best seats by the window that overlooked the busy streets. It was quiet and warm inside. I took out my music player and scrolled through my album list. I found 6 Feet Beneath The Moon. I didn't know what directed me, but I thought Neptune Estate would be the perfect song to mark this occasion. I lighted my joint, took a few puffs and played the track. I smiled.
It was one of my best memories. Thank you Archy.

Omg I just realised the dog in the video is the same dog on the cover of Filimsier which is who the song is written for. I think his name is albert. He must've held a special place in krule's heart considering he made a song about him and has references of dogs in a couple of his songs. RIP ALBERT

Sevana Manukian I've recently bought the album...it is really good. I had to buy it straight away whilst fresh. I don't often buy new albums by anyone...but this guy really impressed me. I wasn't even looking. Just heard a live version of "Easy Easy" and a version of "Bleak Bake." Then this. Tunes like this come so infrequently, they have to be treasured. I'm definitely intrigued as to what he will do next. I like how the music evokes a place...(South) London has a definite vibe to it. Something that pulls my heart. I've heard it in other music. Very haunting indeed.

I always thought the greatest power of music was empathy. This is my experience at least. I can't explain what I'm feeling now exactly. But I don't have to; King Krule doesn't need me to. We are experiencing roughly the same thing, and I feel better knowing that. But you can also say this music has brought me here to say this also. Haha. Either way, it brings us together.

jacob houle the beats and wordplay on that album was legit. I wish he'd go back to serious music production but he just called out people on his personnal twitter asking him to make music while he doesn't want to anymore. So he asked them to stop.
