For flat,I think the best protection for your wheels is bigger sidewalls, the thicker the sidewalls the better the protection is. I like a smaller groove, makes me feel more in control and less scared of wheelbite riding flat. Symmetrics are my go to frames. For anti-rocker frames I really like the Creates
I have aeons and M12s with Kaltik flat frames (the ilia savosin pro model, I’ll be honest, I mainly got them for the colour). Worth prefacing that I’m very new to grinding. But I find front sides on coping slide wayyyyy easier on the aeons. But I find souls and mizous so much easier on ledges on the Kaltik M12 set up. Have never really tried skating anti rocker, might give it a go if I start doing rails. Love these videos man! ❤️
Loved it !!! Even though your English aren't the best (which is funny and cute lol) i understood almost everything 🤯❤️ Rip: Me and my skating skills cause we don't have and good places here for skate 😞
Personally, I would say I prefer wider groove like Fluid IV gives. I think it made it easier to land on most street ledges while not worrying about the most horrible wheelbite that could happen. I can skate Fluid V just fine, its just I skated them in 58mm wheels and rarely do groove grind because the angle I do groove grind on usually is different which is why I switch too Fluid IV to see if its easier to do it. Now I skated antis on the street, exploring spots to spots.
I'm a degenerate. I use antirocker wheels on Aeons. :) But my local park is ledges and square rails so I prefer not having to worry about wheelbite and crashing hard.
Hi there can you advise me, I bought very old second hand inline skates, hardly been used and was in a attic, they are roces fco, they don't smell , there is no rust and they haven't changed colour, but when I skate I hear like cracking or splitting but cannot see cracks or splits , do you think wise to skate on, I like them they fit nice and not high but roces only sell 76mm
Late Answer, maybe you find already but you can buy other wheels for 76mm from other brand, maybe a combo with new bearing to be sure, and you should be fine. maybe the plastic got weaker with time or the liner isn’t so good (foam) but you can give a try
Have you managed to find out about this yet? I don't find the THEM frames provide much wheel bite protection and would imagine the FLT4s are easier to use flat, but I would be curious to hear if you've heard different?
Thanks for all the effort you go to when making these videos 👍🏼
My pleasure!
I appreciate your time and explanations about these frames. It certainly gave me some perspective.
I really love the Rollerblade Daytona... i could make almost everything in those frames.

Great point! the fockus was not enough on thick sidewalls.
We did mention that though.
@@Thisissoul yeah you sure did mention it.
for me small groove radius and thick sidewalls works the best. Great episode, well done!

There numerous Aeon skaters with antirocker.

"this video is for aggressive inline skaters" and then proceeds to explain grinding xd ;-) :-P
Great video, very informative! How do you think the Them frames and FLT4 frames compares for wheel bite?

@@anawkwardlifemedia FLT4 is the name of the latest Ground Control frame which was designed for flat 😃
@@chilli-iceolive-abode2447 oh lol. My mistake😂😂🤦♂️
