Of course, because age is determined by when the character enters the campaign, this "Dad" was YOUNGER than his daughter in that reality, but they did recognize each other.
That's difficult to answer. They have similarities but are truly two different games. Battle Brother is more of a brutal simulation, and Wildermyth is brutal in the sense that any character's death has high stakes for the story of that run. I love them both, but if I had to put one above the other I'd probably pick Battle Brothers simply because it's a deeper game.

I love this game, but man it's so hard. And everytime I'm getting to like a character they end up dying sadly.
