wow where you are now brings back so many memories. My mate and i spent a long time exploring Indonesia in our 20's omg cant believe in 73 now. thanks for the memories take care guys 👍
Some of those shots: brown hilly terrain, almost barren, crystal clear blue water, balmies, reminds me of parts of Pacific Mexico. Fish market, tool shop.
Totally agree! I was in the water for a while waiting for them but none came. When I got back in the boat they all started to swim by. They are slightly scary and extremely large and I didn’t want to get back in the water and land on one, so I watched from the tinnie instead! W.
I was in lapuan bajo in 89 90 summer, its certainly has changed. we took a single cylinder 20 foot boat to komodo. there were very few boats in the harbour. enjoy
It was a happening place! There were hundreds of phinisi boats everywhere! We loved it! It was such a contrast to the other places we had seen in Indonesia. W.
That chain of islands changed culture at every island, in Flores every valley. Catholic, islam, budist, hindu and mixed with local beliefs and customs. The hills and mountains of flores was increadable. Glad the tinny survived..
I couldn’t understand why you were towing peanut. Another lesson learned at least remove the outboard if you do. Of coarse I am older than you so I also flipped the dinghy with an outboard on a few times. It’s easy to spot a problem developing with experience. Now you have caught up on my mistakes - good save, the outboard and the day!! Makes for a good video drama story! Happy New Year! 🎉SV Skoiern luv
@@LifeinaNutshell thanks again for your reply indeed my. Google search demonstrates this area of Indonesia is worth sailing to. Best wishes SV Skoiern IV

Those Manta's are so graceful, beautiful but also a little bit scary.

Was that a Bondi cigar toward the end…..🤣
Good vid guys.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching. W.
graceful, sleek and majestic, anyway, enough about Magnus...
It’s insane to think Indonesia has close to 400 million population.
And they are all looking at how we treat Palestinians.
Just 275 million now, the birthrate slowdown here, we don't want to be like india.
