I can definitely and totally Respect Desumi Magahara/Reaper Princess in this Anime, for not only being Super Cute and Adorable Big Sister to Urami, but also being a Serious Badass Sister, and also being a Villainous Hero too.
Scene like this always remind me of that Austin Powers scene where Austin's dad points out how generic and nameless the goons are compared to his main character status/design so there's no chance of them winning against him.
They genuinely go out of their way to flesh out their characters in this series, and thank goodness it's not another freaking harem. (I"ve been getting sick of those since Tenchi Muyo) Desumi doesn't necessarily need Fudo to be a good character, but she brings out her genuinely gentle side beyond her villainous role. Fudo may be a fervent pervayer of justice, but he sees beyond the superficial and encourages others to the best of his ability. Heck, they broke the trope of the freaking love triangle with Pink Gelato by having her support Fudo and Desumi when she likely would have been a hateable character relegated to comedic relief and drama. It's good stuff.

There are people like that who went around their whole lives never challenged because they were able to intimidate others through fear or actual fighting but have no proper training because of their numbers advantage until they meet someone you shouldn't mess around and find out.
Her English voice is so cringe just like the rest of the rest of the cast. Idk what happened to dubs but all the voices are terrible matches for the characters.
It's very tropey for some anime dubs to sound a certain way. I get what you mean, it comes off usually like someone trying to be Japanese or anime rather than just a normal voice actor. It can be admirable sometimes though. I think it's more of a writing thing tbh. Either from the original source or from when they adapted it. The "Heh.. guess I don't need to hold back then" line was pretty cringe and played out, for example lmao. No real person would say that and expect to actually threaten anybody in that situation
