She didn't want the cop to see Chris's Id because she didn't want the cop to have a reminder of him in case someone he knew like his best friend goes looking for him
Smartttt
5:04 "Being black is such a cool thing." 😂
She meant well lol
@@SmileySaidIt that’s the way I took it😂😂
Yea she said she loves black culture. I don’t know what she meant by that I’m jealous comment tho he might have to watch her or I’m overthinking it
Took me fast…but I knew what she meant! Lol
We're both from Iran and she just simply loves American things and black culture and black people. Nothing weird or wrong, she's pure ❤
Black people aren't inherently stronger or faster or whatever. We're humans just like everybody else. Yes, some ARE stronger or faster but that's also true with every other race/ethnicity. That kind of thinking is why Black people, especially in the US South, were enslaved, whipped, beaten, etc. I'm not at all saying this is how y'all think, but just giving some clarity & insight into America's racist past, particularly with myths about Black people. All in all, I enjoyed your authentic reactions to the movie. I, too, LOVE & appreciate Black culture. 😎
I’m sure that they are thinking of athletes and olympians. The most notable people in certain sports tend to be black. It’s not a commonality for all black people but we tend to win metals for speed and strength.
I also see why this can be detrimental thinking as the movie showcases. But even as a black person I feel like we gotta notice the accomplishments and our unique racial triumphs is all.
I got what they were tryna say 😂❤
Yes we are
its a common topic with lots of research done on the body make up and design.
The statistics of Olympics NFL NBA speak for itself where generally, black people are physically faster for example. Each ethnic and race have the sports they excel in. Black people don't excel in all sports. Caucasians don't excel in all sports. There are a lot of sports. But speed, eg. Usain Bolt, Noah Lyles
You sound very envious it's clearly obvious that we are faster, stronger and cooler. Its all natural for us.
@@follow352people like that doesn’t unstand that each race are more known for certain genetic advantages. Not saying every member is this or that more than the other .
The guy that got kidnapped in the beginning was the guy that freaked out at the party.
The grandfather came up with the procedure because her got his ass whooped in the Olympics by a black man,so he was obsessed with the genetic makeup of black people
It's not about prejudice. It's about racism. It's about taking racism to the most evil end imaginable.
1 of our biggest fears Is trusting a certain white person or people and having them do to us what they did to chris but not on the level of the movie
@@AntoineRideaux-wd1zk Historically, Black people in America have been enslaved and experimented on. So we have that innate distrust of the upper class in the social system to conjure up diabolical ideas with us on the short end of the stick. The two things I love most about this film are how layered the writing is (it's also about the loss of cultural identity, seeing the flash and having a "woke" moment) and the fact that even if you took out the race element, it would still be just as effective as a simple psychological thriller.
This film has nothing to do with racism.
@Spugalugs yes the fuxk it does . A bunch of white people asking a black man about all of their racist stereotypes and seeing if they want to purchase him as if he was a slave
I’m not sure which of you are foreign but this is a meta commentary on the racial prejudice in America. The theater experience for this was really fun. Everyone was cheering for so many scenes. I’m so glad you guys liked it! Please watch “Us” and “Nope” both horror/thrillers by the same guy behind this - Jordan Peele!
Both of us are from Iran, loved the movie, thanks for being here ❤
@@waduminalways! best reaction channel!
@@salvadormartinez8577 Man, bro. One of the best theater experiences I've ever been a part of. It was like every joke, plot twist, scare just landed perfect. The room got so silent then Rod stood up out of the TSA vehicle and it just erupted with applause and cheering. Definitely one of the greatest films of the modern era.
LMAO, Sis really said “Being Black is a cool thing!”…it is until you have to live it, but I think I kinda got what she meant.
She didn't mean it in a bad way❤
@@wadumin I got that. Hearing it at first most def made me look like WTF, but I saw that it wasn’t meant maliciously.
@@TheeOGBobby yup, we're foreigners so we might sound weird sometimes but we would never mock or disrespect anyone, much love ❤️
@@wadumin LMAO. its so funny watching you trying to explain that it wasn't malicious. most of us definitely understand what you meant but sometimes a foreigners' language intent doesn't translate accurately. It's ok, we understand its just misinterpretation.

Anita at the beginning : i can't watch this movie 😨😢
Also Anita : I LOVE THIS MOVIE, I CAN'T SIT DOWN NOW😈😡🔥

You guys are fun! I look forward to more!
Thanks for watching, you're awesome ❤
This has been one of my favorite reactions to this movie, and I’ve watched a lot of them
The dramatics of the GF are so hilarious but cutesy 😂😂😂😂😂
She's the best 🤣❤️
Your gf is adorable bro haha loved the reaction! her comments were so pure and sincere!
Great reaction! I love how aware you were of so many things, especially since you’re not from the US. There is a lot in this film that has deeper meaning with regard to black and white race relations in the states. It’s definitely a foreign concept to a lot of people not raised here.
Thanks for understanding, we appreciate it ❤
One of my favorite modern day horror movies of all time. The theater experience was so awesome. I love this film ❤
Oh it was great, thanks for watching ❤
@@wadumin Yes! So good. Hope you guys react to "US".
First thing, great reaction. Y'all caught on very quickly about what was happening in this movie. Y'all reactions were funny as hell.
Best movie reaction i ever seen 👏👏👏👏. I'm definitely going to subscribe
Ayyy thanks for watching ❤
There's a lot of visual symbolism in this film. In order to survive, Chris has to pick cotton from the chair, which a lot of slaves had to do in the south. When Rose is eating cereal, you'll notice that the milk and the cereal are separated, which is a nod to segregation- Keeping the "colored" away from the "white". When Chris is outside to smoke and the man runs at him and makes a quick turn, it's because he's the grandfather who lost in the Olympics to Jesse Owens, so he does a lot of running.
They used to call Black men that wouldn't bend to White authority in the Reconstruction-era 'Bucks,' which also happens to be another name for an adult male deer (wink, wink). Chris/Rose hitting the 'buck' and Chris being the only one concerned about it dying on the side of the road was an omen, an early sign of things to come.
Oh wowww
Great reaction😂

Greetings, thanks for watching ❤
16:24 this moment absolutely horrified me. They did an amazing job making you feel his position. The feeling of being trapped deep down in your own body. So scary.
Freaking awesome review you guys!!!! Love the enthusiasm..
Thanks for watching, we appreciate it❤
If you liked this one you should watch NOPE. Same Writer / Director also starring Daniel Kaluuya plus Keke Palmer as his sister. Really great horror movie with a totally different theme. Jordan Peele is turning out to be one of the best horror directors of his generation. Strongly recommended. His other movie US is good, but it's not as good as NOPE and GET OUT.
Agreed
What do you mean? 'Us' is the best!! It is just as good as any of the series. People who nitpick the realism of 'Us' ignore the fantasy of 'Get Out' and 'Nope'. For every, "where did they get the scissors and jumpsuits?", there is a "aliens?" or "how do you get the body to accept the new brain when the host body wasn't properly prepped with immunosuppressants?".
Just saying.
This movie is heavily influenced by Rosemary's Baby - if you haven't seen that one yet, it is a cinematic masterpiece
You guys need to Watch NOPE also,
The movie is about UAV/UFO, same director, actor
Worth to watch it👍🏻
So much fun watching this reaction!!! 🙂
Thanks for watching ❤
She looks like Mary elizabeth winstead.
Damn she sure do
By not "confirming the kill" at the end, Rose ends up dying the same way that Chris's mom died, bleeding out all alone on the side of the road.
Ooooh righttt
Anita 😂😂😂😂 new sub you guys are both great
you guys have to watch a hidden easter eggs video about Get out. theres so much you didnt catch an I didnt either the first time i watched it . its a classic movie concept
His friend Rod IS a stand up comedian! His name is Lil Rel
Literally loved his performance ❤
Another recommendation: Ready or Not 2019!
Added, thanks for watching ❤
Lil Rel Howery provided the much-needed comic relief. That scene where he goes to the police station to inform them that black men are being kidnapped and made into sex slaves is a riot. The police thought so, too.
Absolutely loved his performance
Check out the movies US(2019), Hush(2016), Creep(2014), and Ready or Not(2019).
As an American white woman … I too wish I was black😂😂😂😂 I feel like almost every one I know is intrigued by their culture and let’s be real, they are super cool 😂

She was smiling while being choked because she was a psychopath.
There's more to diagnosing psychopathy than just labeling someone because they're doing things that's abnormal. 😂
Same with a sociopath.
@@LifeisANovel These are Symptoms of a psychopath.
Boldness, superficial charm, pathological lying, lack of empathy or remorse, inclination to violence and psychological manipulation, impulsivity, narcissism
It’s not an hard evaluation .
@@YungTunaWave haha suuuuure. Guess there's alot of psychopaths walking around here. Funny.
@@LifeisANovel of course there is. This is America
I think this movie explains duality very well. Religion, and a belief in god. That to accept god a delusion, into your life, you become a passenger in your own life. And sometimes, depending on the god one adopts.. the god delusion makes you an unwanted passenger, and that's true Hell on Earth. Because you don't understand yourself.. alienation from within. You still exist.. but as a silent passenger. You're in the dark.. and it's all psychological.. born out of a delusion, because god isn't real. xo
Because most people are acting like this, believe in God etc. and you are strange person if you are not like them, but …. YOU ARE JUST YOURSELF.
All power to the most wonderful people of Iran!
In most cases the law is in the United States if you're not the one driving you do not have to give up your ID to the police if they were to stop the driver for a traffic infraction.
ok 1st im definitely subscribing cause I don't normally listen to the end commentary but I agreed with what you said and I had the same reaction through this whole movie lol it was like watching it for the first time again

I was just going to say bro. Django would be a great back-to-back film to watch with this one.
Y'all gotta watch Us now, it's similar to this but no racist shit

Lovely reaction - when this movie came out it was marketed as a dark version of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, so we were ready for certain things going in, but still the actual concept ended up blindsiding us - racism is usually discussed in relation to the South, but this version points at racist currents underneath White Liberalism - maybe a direct rendering of what Malcolm X called the "fox" who pretends it's your friend, but its grin is ready to eat you - interesting question for me, as with you, was about the Girl, and how far this film would go w its bleak picture of today's race relations
Regarding black filmmaking in the US, it goes as far back as Oscar Micheaux and Paul Robeson in the silent era - racist roots are very deep in the US, and in Hollywood - probably the most important movie ever made is Birth of a Nation, which invented movies as we know them, and its spectacular success launched Hollywood - and also revived the KKK, and is horrifically racist to watch - maybe the most popular movie still is Gone With the Wind, which is more polite, but has many similar attitudes underneath
The Civil Rights and Black Power mvmts led to major changes in racial awareness, and shifts in movie portrayals over the 60s and 70s - stars like Sidney Poitier and Harry Belafonte broke thru to mainstream audiences, and "Blaxploitation" was a whole low-budget genre movie industry aimed at black audiences - movies like Shaft, Coffy, Superfly, Blacula, Mandingo, and Sweet Sweetback's Badass Song - and in parallel were more poetic films like Sounder, Killer of Sheep, White Dog, and Ganja and Hess
During the 80s huge stars like Eddie Murphy and Whoopi Goldberg emerged
- and in the 90s a Black New Wave of filmmaking challenged the culture and politics of the day, spearheaded by figures like Spike Lee, w movies like Do the Right Thing, School Daze, Jungle Fever, and Malcolm X; other key films include Boyz In the Hood, Deep Cover, Waiting to Exhale, Daughters of the Dust, Panther, Chameleon Street, Gridlock'd, Nightjohn, Jackie Brown, Friday, I Like It Like That, Glass Shield, Menace 2 Society, and many others - I'll stop there
Thanks for watching and all the info my friend ❤
@@wadumin You may be interested - I just discovered today a new trailer for an upcoming film, The Piano Lesson, w Samuel Jackson, produced by Denzel Washington, starring and directed by his sons John David and Malcolm (from a stage production directed by Jackson's wife! - this is a huge labor of love from Denzel and Samuel) ua-cam.com/video/cZwjt0pjt8w/v-deo.html
This is why it's important: it's based on a play by August Wilson, one of America's greatest playwrights - part of a series of 10 plays covering the 20th century in African-American life; the series is called the Pittsburgh Cycle, and it's a monument of American culture
- Denzel has promised the writer's family that he will produce films of all 10 plays, and this is the 3rd - this is like someone promising to film all Shakespeare's plays (Wilson is sometimes called the American Shakespeare) If this project were about a comic book, we'd be hearing about it every day
The last 2 films were of Fences and Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, both starring Viola Davis, who got an Oscar for Fences. Fences and Piano Lesson won Pulizer Prizes, which is like the Oscar for literature

Expressing a desire to be black has got to be the most cringe worthy comment I've ever heard in a UA-cam video. Which is ironic given that's the exact sentiment expressed by all the bad guys in the movie. Probably a good idea to keep this to yourself. Because it's a really weird thing to say.
