- In this video we take a walk on the famous Petaling Street located in Kuala Lumpur´s Chinatown. Petaling Street is one of Kuala Lumpur´s must see attractions whether you are shopping or just wanting to find some local Malaysia Street Foods. This is also the location of a few hotels (those who choose to stay in this area).
Petaling Street is located in Chinatown Kuala Lumpur not far from the Central Market and Merdeka Square, two of KL´s top attractions. Looking for brand name shoes, handbags, watches, clothing, perfumes and other designer goods you will probably not find them here, you will however find products that look familiar ;-)
Wiki writes about Petaling Street in Kuala Lumpur, "Petaling Street (Malay: Jalan Petaling, Simplified Chinese: 茨厂街, Traditional Chinese: 茨廠街, pinyin: Cíchǎng Jiē, Cantonese jyutpingis a Chinatown located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Haggling is a common sight here and the place is usually crowded with locals as well as tourists. The area has dozens of restaurants and food stalls, serving local favourites such as Hokkien mee, Ikan Bakar (barbecued fish), asam laksa and curry noodles. Reggae Bar Chinatown is located here. Traders here are mainly Chinese but there are also Indian, Malay, and Bangladeshi traders..."

Certainly Petaling Street is a colourful place to do your shopping especially if you're a tourist. Plenty of road side stall. You have stalls selling almost everything a tourist needs from souvenirs, bags,shoes ,watches, hats, earphones , electronic gadgets and clothes. Some of the workers mainly Bangladeshis, can be extremely rude to customers. For example an item cost RM 60, normally the prices are marked up. You can bargain but if you do not buy after the agreed price or ask for further bargain, they would insult you. Anyway this a nice video. I enjoyed watching it.👍

1) There is absolutely NOTHING wrong to want a little comfort as we age. 2) Was it "high" season when you were there, or IS there a high season in KL?
