Without any doubt hijab can protect us from such evil things....

but we must teach boys at the same time as girls too. A lot of rapes happen because the rapist wants to control a person, so we need to teach them to respect others. And also, modesty of heart, not just clothes in both genders, so that men lower their gaze and not touch and harass women and make them uncomfortable. I am saying this because I myself have been touched while wearing hijab.

A man should not be looking once at women in a wrong way. He should remember his mum is a woman his sister is a woman. If he respects his mum and his sister. He should respect someone else's mum and sister in the same way. Not to look at a lady in a wrong way.
The women should dress in a decent way. Or at least wear a abaya but loose to cover her self and not to give a man the opportunity to look at her in a wrong way. I'm a women myself I wear a abaya which is loose so my figure is not showing to others. I wear a scarf in respectable way not a fashion status that you get now days

The solution to this problem is simply mentioned in the Quran that قُل لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ يَغُضُّوا۟ مِنْ أَبْصَـٰرِهِمْ وَيَحْفَظُوا۟ فُرُوجَهُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَزْكَىٰ لَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ خَبِيرٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ
˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their chastity. That is purer for them. Surely Allah is All-Aware of what they do.

I have read many comments and i want to say that there always 2 grps who blaming each other . For example one is saying k parda ni kiya & kapre aise pehne hn etc , and other is saying k ap victim blaming kr rhy ho again , and women ko kapre pehna na sikhao , everyone has right to live according to his wishes and its men fault and you are justifying rape .. Etc .... 10/20/30 years ago, both grps fighting each other and still incidents happened .. 10/20/30 years later both grps will be still fighting and same incidents will be happening ..... Thank you
