I notice on my 2020 2.0 while in drive with foot on brake and gas I could only rev to 2000rpm before launching then it goes past 2k rpm. Is there a rev limiter???
luis pires nope you don’t have to. You can have it on sport automatic and sport paddle shifters. That’s why I love this car cuz it lets you do whatever you want. You can even used the shifter in all modes

Laurentino Keegan it’s in the setting to turn it on. Then click the home button on the steering wheel and choose whatever you want to be there. There is a video on UA-cam that shows you how to turn on that setting

I can't out shift the 10 speed, but I have always gotten a better launch than all I have raced/goofed around with. Not to mention, you can launch at any rpm with the stick, and depending how your car is set up, they are at 60 in second gear in no time, stock. Plus you can power shift the 6 speed, meaning if you are in a serious race, or just want to accelerate as fast as possible, you can abuse it and keep your foot to the floor on the gas when you rapid shift/clutch. Grip is key to the 6 speed, especially modded.
Paultwice22 yessss I have 93 octane now and the car runs and shifts and accelerates better. I usually put 87 and it runs fine. Matter fact I been putting 87 for the past almost three years of owning my car. 91 and 93 are greet for this car but not required. 87 and 89 are the same. I can’t tell the difference between them.
Accord Only1320 oh really??? Well why don’t you make a video and show us. I did have it on sport mode and look how many times I tried to downshift. The first gear is really short it doesn’t let you. @@kamronhd7763 I thought the g37 was a bit faster then the g37 stock for stock. I know a few bolt ons and tune and the accord will beat the g37 but stock the g37 is faster. At least on paper.

Unless you are talking about the manual transmission, the 1.5T sport only has a CVT transmission, no gears.

2nd when you activate the paddles but it doesn’t matter what gear you are in when you activate the paddles just break and it’ll downshift for you
won’t downshift into first automatically unless you are on steep hill going slow and up like my driveway
