It's a shame that she cannot go on the mainline she would be a good locomotive for excursions out of Abilene to Kansas City and back heck she might be able to make the run to Willams AZ or Denver
@@erikgustafson9319 I'm not sure if they have a connection to BNSF anymore or not. Other than that, it would take some convincing to get BNSF to allow her on their tracks, and it would probably take some mechanical work on 3415 as well to get her mainline ready. Not to mention that they would have to raise a ton of money in order to do a major excursion like that.
@@erikgustafson9319 They could, it's all dependent on if they could get the money though. 3415's 15 year FRA mandated rebuild is coming up in like 3 years and I don't know if they'll have the money to do that right away.

I agree, it would be awesome to see her out on the main. Especially if she could go meet up with 3751 and 2926.
@@atsf3415dbr what's holding her up then is it the crop service products spur removed or something like that

@@atsf3415dbr Indeed but if 3751 and 2926 can be certified surely they could give her an overhaul to get her to mainline status

Hopefully by next Labor Day they will be open so I can see 3415.
I hope so too.
