- I had the pleasure of visiting the Benetti shipyard in Italy yesterday, where I saw their new 37 meter yacht in construction. It's an impressive sight and so much about this yacht is innovative. I produced this video when the BYOND was still in it's early stages about 8 months ago.
Amazing, Benetti are really next level. Thing feels more spacious than yachts twice her size and yet is so compact. 37m? unbelievable!
A great design, matched by an even better presentation.
Benetti yachts get better & better. It must be an point of pride to be an architect for this company.
Since the Wider "Cecilia", I find that there was no more great surprise. But this yacht is not only very beautiful, but it surprises a lot. David, thank you and I can't wait to see it filmed live. I think it will be great, especially with you and your team. 👍👍👍👍👍
I had to read it several times, 37 METER!!! It looks much more voluminous than the usual 37 meter yachts. The way they utilised the volume is groundbreaking!
Hi Patrick, I was on board a couple of weeks ago. It's still in construction but the interior layout is already identifiable and really impressive.

Well, I thought that OASIS would be the best at this size, but Benetti outdid themselves. This is a state of the art vessel. An explorer with all leisure features and more. Waiting to see it sailing. Thanks David!

They nailed it!! The amount of space for 37M is unbelievable and the hiding of the tender and toys takes it over the top. I can imagine this will revolutionize explorer yacht design, hell all yacht design for that matter. A more ground breaking design than the Princess x95, which I felt seemed to enclosed if that makes sense. Also a great presentation as well. 👍
Love Italian design and ingenuity! Would definitely be a place I would look to if the bank account would allow 😉

How would the Oasis 40 perform in rough seas with the beach club pool area being so low level and open. Would it have flooding problems if big waves washed in from behind.

Would love to see an update if they have completed the 1st one. Renditions aside the real fully completed experience will be something else entirely. This is truly a new design and not a repeat with a few tweaks. This would be my choice of all the yachts out there....If I had the money to purchase one!....LOL
The use of space is beyond .
Absolutely amazing, I love it. however, maybe its me but that bow lets it down, a little longer and sleeker then it would be beyond perfection...

Nice one David. I like this 'new product' from Benneti. It seems many of these ideas were lent to the Azimut group ( a part of their family) to produce the New '38 Tri-deck'. Could you ask Benneti if they would allow you to give us a summation of that model as well please?

Well, I am looking for a 38 meter, so a 37 meter, I dunno. I've watch a lot, and really enjoy, your videos (walkthroughs & your broker series) and I sometimes wonder how shipyards determine the length of new hulls. Just wonder why, for example, it's not simply 30, 35, 40 meters. No need to respond, and perhaps you mentioned that kind of think in earlier videos I haven't seen yet (but will).

Hi grondhert, the first unit is in construction. I visited it just a few days ago. They are making good progress, the launch will be before the end of the year, although they can't give a precise date yet.
My Gucci's and Giuseppe Zanotti's would fit right in then!
