I just hate it when I’m walking down the street and accidentally step on a table saw! I’ve gone through 5 pairs of shoes this week!
Lmfao
5 sets of toes as well
I know right! Careless people always leaving their table saws laying around where innocent pedestrians can step on them....
You need some forestry boots. You don't want to use up all your spare sets of toes b4 xmas
The best morning read ever 😂😂😂
All you companies better not lie about what your product can do cause my man freakin reviews is comin to test you
11:29 - "Is this The Shoe-shank Redemption?"
Jaaaaaaames. That was so goooooooood. I loved it!
I'm sure Arthur Morgan or John Marston would rock them
Well safety shoe are what they are rated for safety. Have to conform to standards. Those other shoes are not rated and give false sense of safety, should be outright banned. Thanks for the video !!
Jan Tschierschky agreed. Those toes are flat out more dangerous than regular shoes.
Indeed. Those shoes should be illegal, or at least have a warning that they cannot replace actual work boots. Someone will have his toes destroyed because he thought he would be safe with these.
True that. Most of these wannabe companies are gonna hurt people. We could wait for people to realise that and start sueing companies but thanks to this guy, we don't have to wait.
Couldn’t agree more. Lawsuit waiting to happen
pumas does legit sneakers/workboots price is even comparable one of my colleague used to walk around with it never complained about the weigth or uncomfortness of his shoes while it was like a sport for us.
No .50 cal or flamethrower test? Im disappointed! How will we know which shoe is truly indestructible?
Demolition Ranch just did his version of the test with these shoes, go check him out they can withstand a .22 but that's about it!
Nano Tech What’s the video called?
Maybe if they survived through the video. But none of them did. So they are not truly destructible.
Man you always go into so much detail with your reviews, and they're so fun to watch
Loving this format makes a change. More please
Agreed. I liked the humor, extra people involved, and thought into this video.
Damn, I'm still searching for that one shoe that allows me to continue my hobby of jumping on sharp nails.
potawatadingdong it can happen if you work construction. The steel shank saved my foot
@@49giants3/videos Same reason you always wear a hard hat (roofing nails are killers). ;)
PongoXBongo exactly
I didn't notice this video was 30 minutes long! That's a sign of good content.
Money hungry youtubers would turn this into 3 videos.
I didn’t even realize it was that long and i just watched the entire thing. :)
Me neither
"Shoe shank redemption" lol! What a great pun
when Freakin' Reviews meets Mythbusters...lol
This was well made, informative and fun. Not at all too long.
You and Justin have great on-screen chemistry.
Wow, 30 minutes long and no adds. Damn. Most youtubers would turn this into 3 parts and fill them with adds. Definitely earned a subscription. Have you made a patron?
I hate it when I walk through a pool of acid and my shoes melt off
It's a monthly thing for me.
How the hell do you always do this
Justin Y. smh
Justin Y. Get out of here now 🦖😤
It can actualy happen If you work in a lab
I love how long this video was and I never even thought about it I was fully engrossed in it! Thank you for the video and the hard work you put into it! Love it!!!
I've been following your UA-cam channel for a while now and I like these more in-depth reviews it gives more insight about different products keep up the good work.
They totally missed out on not calling them the indistructoes
I have been asking you to do the indestructable shoes for a long time and I am so happy that you finally are doing it. I will enjoy this.
Hope you like it!
@@Freakinreviews I am so far. Thank you for so much you do. You not an OG youtuber but I love what you do and I hope you dont ever have to work a fulltime job and do this for a living.
Now they have indestructable pants future video please.
@@jamesboone3678/videos And a truly waterproof version of the shoes.
I'm really enjoying the comparison videos. Also, a huge step up in video quality, and the overall smoothness of your content. Keep doing what your doing James 👍👍
Thanks David!
I love when your reviews take you outside of the house, it really shows you care to go the extra mile to text products for your viewers.
You and Justin could be the new Mythbusters. That's the first place I ever saw the drop test for the toes. I was rooting for the Amazon shoes too. Great video as always
That has got to be one of the best tests I have ever seen with these shoes! Very well done
me watching the nail tests: "please don't fall, please don't fall, please don't fall"
This one was really good. I like how you did the field tests with your friend. He seems like a good dude and had some cool equipment to do the tests with. Would be cool to see something like that again.
I too hate it when you accidentally drop a 50 pound steel weight exactly 18 inches from the floor.
The cloud reflection in your sunglasses at 4 minutes 56 seconds is beautiful!
Thanks for this video! I literally almost purchased from Indestructible. I was just waiting for an actual and good review on them. Thank you so much for doing this video!
I had a pair of those Brahma's for about two years of solid work, the part that fell apart was the adhesion of the side leather to the base of the boot. They were pretty good boots for the price.
Same I really liked them, but it just didn’t hold up
I appreciate Justin’s attention to detail on the steel toe testing
Hmm.. this is a weird episode of Mythbusters
Would love to see the 'invincible' shoe too.
The single nail thing makes sense, each additional nail as seen in advertising reduces the psi by a factor of 1 - so stepping on 5 nails will be 1/5 the psi of stepping on 1 nail with the same force. Just like lying on a bed of nails. Of course they used multiple nails in the advertising lol
Great review. Thanks for actually calling out the bed of nails trick! Other reviewers we're like "whoa you can totally walk on nails with these!" ... yeah so can your bare foot dude.
Yep, it’s called basic fucking physics.
Shaking my damn head, dude.
Got my snacks and i'm ready to watch lol
Brilliant videos as always, keep it up James neat little videos that I watch just to relax!
Really enjoyed this video and as some already mentioned, I didn't realize this was 30mins either, as it was fun to watch and educational and well!
Suadex, Jackshibo, Mitudiddi plus 9 other "brands" (that I've found so far) on Amazon seem to be the same company. I almost bought some Jackshibo steel toes but after watching this and seeing the embossed 'B' logo on one of your test shoes, I'm going to bypass the purchase. It seems odd to me that so many different brand names are selling the same exact shoe. As though they know their product is junk and are trying to dilute Amazon with them just to make sure to get sales. Well, not this time. Thanks to your video, I can safely go back to the Brahmas I've been buying for over a decade.
Love your review vids. Even though I have nobi rarest in indestructible shoes I was engrossed from start to finish. I didn't even realise it was 30 minutes long. Keep up the great work
Back at it again! Keep them coming James.
I work a job where I walk miles everyday on wet slippery surfaces pulling heavy equipment. Dickies work boots are surprisingly good for the cost at Wal-Mart, but they will get moldy eventually. Best boots I've found are Georgia brand boots. Actually waterproof, steel toe outta hell, thick treated leather, and thick hardened rubber non-slip soles. But you gotta pay for quality, they run about $140 a pair. Worth it for daily use though. Since they're actually waterproof they also keep moisture in, so you will get stinky feet. I dump goldbond powder in mine to help.
Pat Patrix kiwi brand shoe deodorant spray is a great fix, antibacterial and other powders or sprays containing talcum aren't good for you
I got a pair and they only lasted me about five months. I'm on my feet constantly and was looking for something durable and I thought these shoes would go to.distance but no luck here. My short review is up in case you want to see how they turned out.
A pair of which ones?
@@PongoXBongo indestructible shoes
@@bostonrailfan2427 yes and no, after these i bought a pair of boots Redbacks from Australia and they have lasted me for over three years
You could make an “As Seen on TV of Bad Safety Practice” with this video lol. I like how they say f the gloves after a few. Guys standing on nail was an accident waiting to happen. He slips and nail goes in his foot 😹
25:36 I know THAT look. That's the "oh snap, I'm gonna go buy me some of those" look.
Right before Justin said " This is scary." When he was standing on that metal on top of the shoe, I was like " Man, this is so scary." Haha
Taking a step in the right direction! Ive been wondering about these shoes.. Great video!
I buy athletic shoes for normal activities and work boots for work, these "indestructible" shoes are a compromise that doesn't do either well.
Sporks
Yep, if you work GET BOOTS!
Don’t fucking buy these injuries waiting to happen. Twisted ankles, here we come!
Im glad James went the whole 9 yards to test the shoes as its all about safety. His channel is THE most honest channel for product reviews
I want to provide an estimate of the force of impact the weight has when it hits the shoe. I'm a little rusty on physics, but I did the best that I could. (Values are converted to metric. Sorry imperial users.)
If an object of mass *(m = 22.6796 kg)* is dropped from height *(h = 0.4572 m)* , then the velocity before impact is *(v = 2.9935 m/s)* . The kinetic energy just before impact is equal to its gravitational potential energy at the height from which it was dropped *(K.E. = 101.6173 J)*
*_Kinetic energy alone does not allow us to calculate the force of impact_*
As there was no mention of height that the weight travelled _after_ impact, I estimated this to be roughly *2 inches* , or *0.0508 meters* .
*D = 0.0508*
The force of impact may be calculated using the *work-energy principal* to be:
*Average impact force = F = 2000.34720 N*
Correct me if I am wrong on the conversion, but this is equivalent to *2901.258 psi.*
Thanks for doing this video! My girlfriend got me a pair of indestructible shoes for Christmas and had no idea what they were till today! Thanks!
How cute was Justin being excited about tearing shit up lol loved it
My cousin stepped on a nail while fixing his house and it went right through his shoe and foot. He started wearing his big work boots from then on even when at home working.
Just a couple days ago I was pulling apart the wooden framing of an old sofa so I could use it to fix my bed frame. I was wearing Island Slippers (sandals handmade in Hawaii) and was holding one side of the frame against the floor with my foot and knocking pieces off the other side when I noticed, oh I seem to have been standing on the furniture staples and have inadvertently stapled my sandal to the wood. lol
There's a fundamental problem with cutting the toes off first, as you can see the dome of the steel is compromised in every shoe. Of course they all failed.
I think they would have failed either way some were pretty thin
Sorry buddy if that was the case why did the safety boot past the test. Ans: if you notice that the safety boot from Walmart the steel toe was designed wider and higher.
The walmart show didn't fail
The only one that failed was the suadex from Amazon. What you saw was the inner fabric of f the shoe hanging.
i can't believe I watched that whole thing, but part of me is happy I did.
So excited to watch this! Didn’t know you had one of these reviews!
You plainly soaking the heck out of your feet made my week 😂 “Aaaaaand my feet are wet.”
Tony Beets called, he wanted his son back.
What, no hot dogs to simulate toes during the crush test? Great job showing how these turned out.
This is freaking crazy 😜 I did not think you were going to cut them in half. But I’m glad you did awesome job 🤙
Thorough real world review. Great video man! Thanks for saving me from wasting my money.
Awesome review! It felt like a tv show.
I think you need Justin around more. JS. 😊
I agree. .he was fun to watch and make the freakin review guy more relaxed and funny
It’s interesting how fast I change a channel when a commercial comes on but I kick back and watch your reviews.😜.Ive heard never wear steel toe shoes in a shop. Anything happens and your toes are damaged more by trying to get them out of the crushed steel.
Can you do review with waterproof shoes? including the Vessi waterproof shoes
For waterproof footwear, only boots will work. Shoes simply don’t fit right.
variables ya cant control sounds just like an actual jobsite, great vid
This videos going to be one of your most popular!
I always watch this channel when I’m hungover in bed. It helps my suffering.
It used to be that Sears Diehard boots were the best for safety but these days I wear a Danner safety boot made in the USA. I am a heavy diesel mechanic and they are the only ones I trust to protect my toes. I have seen a crushed steel toe on a co worker and the fire dept trying to cut the steel off of him. It was pretty gnarly.
Will you try testing the s3 grade shoes (like the blulndstone 990)
What a great comparison! If you'ld be willing to test Redwing steel toes and maybe a military style steel-toe boot, that would be awesome.
I love your father-son- duo review! Keep up the great work, love your videos.
My dad was a small town welder theses shoes are terrifying that someone would think these would be safe in that environment or a construction site.
Is it true that Indestructible is a rebranded OEM part, that's why you see the same ad for the same shoe but different companies sometimes? Trying to figure out if they got ripped off by the Alibaba fare, or if they're just a re-brander like MVMT watches.
I like this idea of reviewing products.. Keep it up
As I was watching you guys put nails through the bottom of the shoes, my stomach was churning. It brought back memories of me as a kid stepping on a nail a couple of times! Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh lol
Sissy Hughes same, reminds me of stepping on a shard of broken glass my mum left on the floor, had to remove it with tweezers
I hope you guys sent this video to those manufacturers. This is insane.
How does the sweat test go? All my current shoes, make my feet sweat profusely. Is there breathing holes?
EN-12568 is a personal protective equipment standard, which includes protective and safety toe caps
Wow for health and safety reason we should have more videos like this to safe life.
Toes out were pretty funny. 😂
Thank you for sharing the best shoes
Only difference between normal shoes and "indestructible" shoes is smooshed toes and smooched toes trapped in metal
What is the name of your band? Is there a channel where I can get you guys out?
A real review of these shoes. LOVE IT
Two things I love:
#1 Shoes
#2 A sexy man with a bunch of tools.
No order 😁
Can you do a review on different water filters
Timberland, Puma, and Sketchers also make really good safety shoes for those who don't like wearing boots, better quality than the ones in your video but cost a little bit more.
halfway through the video i went to amazon for the Suadex, i've been wearing Reebok steel toes the last decade or so. shoveled 8" of snow in them, feet stayed dry, but toes froze!
I guess the remaining question is longevity. That's what really matters when considering the cost of footwear. I usually buy Brahma steel-toed, waterproof boots for work, the 40 dollar ones, because the soles get worn down and broken over time on any shoe; especially, from the way I walk on rocks and squat a lot, so it saves me money.
I've stepped on a nail before in my boots, and thanks to the thick soles, it couldn't penetrate far enough to hurt me, the shoes that were tested wouldn't have that feature.
dont you hate it when you accidentally step on a nail with a force so hard it would produce a loud ass sound
Can needle or knife pierce through the upper part of those shoes?
I was googling around and this SUADEX in Amazon is selling the exact same model as Indestructible Shoes. So at this moment I can't tell which one is original and which one is fake
I hate it when I'm minding my own business then all of a sudden my steel toe sneakers has a dumbbell dropped on it.
Twelve o' clock:"Okay one more video before bed"
Three o' clock: *Half hour video about indestructible shoes*
I work at a container port.I once had a corner casting land on my Rhinos. I lost the hair on my toes but no damage to my feet
Wouldnt the standard run on whole shoes, not cut off toecaps?
Now compare the Wal-Mart boot with a Red Wing boot.
Yes, please lol. I wanna see how good redwings are. I have two pairs and I love em, but itd be cool to see how they hold up. I’d assume pretty well.
3:51 holy crap breaking bad season 6?!!
Great Video. I would love to see more of those "not scientific" comparison. :-)
I am not kidding. I Loved this video and those harder tests
There are tennis shoe version of the Brahmas that are waterproof and steel toe. I use them for work and spend a lot of time outside. When it rains my feet stay dry, which I think is more realistic then a water hose. I recommend them.
CamoX or Ryder with the Indestructible shoes? I read the Camo are more comfortable.
I have worn the Brahms shoes for when I worked in a factory briefly. Though they are heavy, I found them all that they claimed-including waterproof. I never had a wet foot. Normal people don't stick their foot under a fountain of water and all the way up to the tongue. But if you come across some water in an area where u work, then it will keep your feet dry.
I owned two sets of the exact same pairs of Brahma steel-toed boots from Walmart. They were great!......for about 6 ish months. Under normal walking and everyday use, no torture tests or anything, the soles were cut open by the steel in the sole and the inside where your foot rests caved in hard just 3 months in. My second pair had an epic wipeout when I was walking on uneven grassy yards. The thick cloth stitching ripped right out. Sounds like when you rip material apart from metal staples.
