A very informative and fun vid, thank you. The views of the land can make one's heart sing during these trying times. The little snippet of your Dad heating his pizza was a bright spot after the hail lol!
hey, chet I totally love the videos im a new fan im Ronny I came the Peterson farm videos to u and the way u talk with ur access. I hope u and ur family have a blessed day.
Chet you can get the ab line out of your tractor if you set it with your tractor and put it in Eric’s get your ab heading and put it in Eric’s and y’all will have the same ab line we do it down here in Georgia spraying and planting ONLY IF YOU HAVE RTK
Enjoy your videos. I farm with my brother in North Carolina growing corn wheat tobacco soybeans and oats. Seeing the equipment you run gives me ideas we can use down here. See you drink Mellow Yellow also. The only drink out there in my opinion. Good luck farming this year.
We didn't get any hail out of those storms. We're up north of you. Then we got 3/4 of an inch of rain a few nights back. We still have one guy in the area planting today. Also I know a guy who has been combining corn yet. Glad that's him & not me. Good luck on the rest of spraying.
Thanks for the video Chet you guys getting some serious. Acres covered in short time!!!! Glad to see you got a little rain for the fields every bit rain aprciecated when it's gettin dry! Keep up they great videos larsons!!🇺🇸✅
We run JD link in our older Deeres. Our dealer basically puts the module in the antenna in an ammo box and then you have an ethernet cable that goes to your 2630 and a power source that plugs into your power strip. That way we can automatically upload our documentation to my John Deere and also we can send out setup files and prescriptions. However we're still not fancy enough to use the coverage map link thingy. I kind of think it costs extra. But we only have one planter, And one sprayer, and the combines coverage maps automatically combine once they're uploaded so it all works out.
Hello New Yorker Big city here My knowledge of industrial farming is limited. But I like watching yours and others farming video. I guess because of the UA-cam algorithms I am seeing other farming videos popping up on my feed. If you have the time and would like to. Can you please explain cover crops and no till farming? Benefits? cost? (Soil erosion - water moisture retention - pesticides use amounts ) And why your farms are all stripped tilled? Have you ever though of just trying a test field? Would also love to see the response from Dougo on this? LOL Thank you
I thought you might have acid soil back east which requires ammonium nitrate. In Utah its definitely ams. In olden times I used to see farmers putting straight ammonia in the irrigation water. I guess you get actual rain in Minnesota.
I like the way you broke it down about spraying,a guy could mess up a bunch of crop in no time, how do you turn around at the end of the field to come back without tearing up the end down there?
Hey brother I know that the things going on in the world are eating at ya, I can tell, your whole demeanor is carrying you different. I'm with ya on that Chet.
When you look at the JD 8430 Tractor the long nose hanging out really looks like it would be really awkward to drive with no load as it looks like it's one good bump from doing a face plant.
They used to have problems with cracking blocks /bellhousings /transmission's All that weight of that engine just hanging out the front there isn't the best design They're not really a 2 track they're just a FWA with the front axle missing They couldn't even be bothered making a new hood for it You can see in the hood where the cleance is for the front axle Don't know if they solved the cracking issue or the new ones just haven't got enough hours yet
La grêle est un fléau qui peut anéantir une partie de vos récoltes , tout ce travail est dépendant de la météo sur 6 mois Le guidage GPS est quand même génial pour vous guider entre les rangs 👍👍
Great video Chet! Lot of information. I gotta wonder who makes the requirement for all of the documentation? Local, State or Feds? Keep up the good work and stat safe.
Chet, the track spacing vs. field spacing must have you threading the needle every time you spray - must be exhausted at the end of the day. I'm getting dizzy thinking about it!
@@LarsonFarms I hear ya . We Run Pre Plant Anhydrous on all of our Popcorn Ground and Seed Corn Ground . Hope You and Dougo have a great growing season.
I believe it was Will Rogers who observed that folks are always complaining about the weather but no one ever does anything about it. It was true then and is still true now.
Was that storm part of that tropical depression or whatever they called it last week? Or something prior to it? We got hammered by that tropical weather in Michigan!
Hail storms that don't wreck windows are the best for a cleaning that would cost way more than most people would spend on their equipment being pressure sprayed. ;-)
Unless that subway you go to is not mobbed for lunch don’t go there. They don’t use expiration dates. The only way they get rid of anything is selling it know matter how long it takes. If you feel that feeling in your stomach like you want to throw up but not quite that’s a result of eating old subway meat. I couldn’t figure it out for a long time until I stopped eating subway.
As a non farmer i have to ask: Is RTK really that expensive that you cant have it for your sprayers amd planters? Surely you'd only need two recievers and two monitors?
For us non-farmers, we like seeing just a day-in-the-life as much as the technical farming stuff.
Nice job scouting the rain Chet
I am amazed the multiple uses the team for the flashlights. Stand at an oven and Dougo pops out the flashlight. Well, you know!
Your enthusiasm for life is contagious, thanks again for the smiles.
Great vid!! Always comical when Chet and Big Sweed interact.
A very informative and fun vid, thank you. The views of the land can make one's heart sing during these trying times. The little snippet of your Dad heating his pizza was a bright spot after the hail lol!
So that's why you don't hang out with the Cornstar, no pizza. Another fine lesson on farming👍👍. Thanks for the ride along.🇺🇸🇺🇸
Dougo can make reading pizza cooking directions funny !
I never realised how much actually went into farming on a daily basis , thanks for upload x
Loved the end. Dougo trying to heat up a pizza. He found the easy button though!! Win
You’re good people and your Minnesotans you can’t go wrong
Another great video Chet! Thanks for posting for us to enjoy! You're the best!

great explanation great video, no gps wow, thats a pain, great job
I dont think the other millennial Minnesota farmer could cope without gps!
I like the way you broke it down about spraying,a guy could mess up a bunch of crop in no time, how do you turn around at the end of the field to come back without tearing up the end down there?
Man those sprayers are cool as heck!! i like the tracks...i agree id buy one of those compared too nice sprayers that you drive!!🤘💯😎🇺🇸🚜
Great picture of
Blondie & Chet In
Remodel to upstairs.
Dougo would be the one to point his flashlight at the oven😂😂😂
Another good one, Chet. Stay safe
We can link up on our combines through our 2630s . Just gotta look into it if you have a 2630 in the cat machine
Thanks for video. Hopefully nothing got damaged in the hail storm.
Well how are new nose working? Chet and big sweed still streaking in the fields ? Nikki look up ray stevens the streak. For back ground tunes 😄😄
Hey brother I know that the things going on in the world are eating at ya, I can tell, your whole demeanor is carrying you different. I'm with ya on that Chet.
Hey Chet, you should look at the new mix mate system that is out and see how much it would benefit your business costs in chemical mixture and loss.
Very nice video, Thank you.
100k subs here we come. Let's spread the word on this great channel. I see no reason why he couldn't have millions of subs one day
look into agleader for both tractors

Just wondering why y'all don't dig a bigger well? Or put a bigger volume pump and hose on your well?
I think Daddy Dougo needs A Cooking Class from Mom!!!! lol lol

Love ur vids and comparing ur guys farm to our farm
Dougo: It don’t say how long to pre heat the oven
Chet: pre heat it until 400 degrees bud 😂
Chet less talking and more working, lol good video ,tell Eric I said he is hot lol good video hugs be safe.
Great video Chet! Lot of information. I gotta wonder who makes the requirement for all of the documentation? Local, State or Feds? Keep up the good work and stat safe.
Insurance company if you have a claim.
Do you have to triple rinse all of your spray jugs we do
impressed that you actually edited a whole sentence together in the beginning lmao
Dont know about you guys up there but down here in Ohio. When we get hail in the spring and summer you better watch the sky for tornadoes

Where did you get the American flag that in the kitchen on the wall. That's is very nice!
Now, why yous don't have at least a 2 in front of that 6 for subs is beyond me, entertainment at it's finest, cheers!
I imagine when you guys plant corn you run starter in your planter . So after the 🌽 is so hight you guys side dress 28 or put on Anhydrous?
We don’t it all goes on before planting our ground holds the n all growing season unless you get a lot of rain in June.
@@LarsonFarms I hear ya . We Run Pre Plant Anhydrous on all of our Popcorn Ground and Seed Corn Ground . Hope You and Dougo have a great growing season.
Mello Yellow should supply you with cases!!!
👍👍👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️TEAM ‼️‼️
Chet saying that 95 degrees is hot is like me saying 40 degrees is cold... ~All Southern states.
Did anything happen? Is everything ok with equipment.
Why does the sprayer not following the tractortracks when you turn? That will save crop.
Can you road those sprayers loaded?
What did you have for dinner chet🧐😜
Chet what is 508 and 179 on the glass over the control head?
Is all the equipment owned
red baron pizza good stuff
I believe it was Will Rogers who observed that folks are always complaining about the weather but no one ever does anything about it. It was true then and is still true now.
What took the beating from the hail worse, your Dodge Truck or your Corn?😂
GOOD ONE MAN
Chet did muscles not come with you’re shirt?
Aerating the soil in heavy soil is like adding fertilizers when reducing the weeds competition ...
Was that storm part of that tropical depression or whatever they called it last week? Or something prior to it? We got hammered by that tropical weather in Michigan!

Doggo needs crop duster plane Father's Day is coming up LOL
Where did you get your torch from. What’s it called. Thx
Can run a million dollars worth of equipment, has to break out a flashlight to turn a stove on. God I love farmers!
How do you kill the weeds but not the beans? Great videos. Thanks. PS- Is Eric your brother? Newby here.
Chemistry won’t kill the beans. Erik is a hired man.
Dougo looks like me when we got new appliances 😂😂

Chet, just do it...
As a non farmer i have to ask: Is RTK really that expensive that you cant have it for your sprayers amd planters? Surely you'd only need two recievers and two monitors?
Rtk is a yearly fee along with some very spendy unlocks for your globes for the tractors.
@@LarsonFarms And by "very spendy" i assume it wont pay off? ;)
When will the new challenger grace us with it’s presence?
Hi :) You still able to use randap?
Contest request.
Would like to see an arm wrestling contest between Eric "the Big Swede" with "Leg Arms" from Welker farms.
I want to know how the pizza turned out
With all the tech gear you have why can’t it be downloaded and then printed for records?
Do you put oils with your spray when you do corn
No not normally
No one knows the pains of spraying and nursing until they live it all year
Once you got your haircut , you look like your daddy . Rename year videos " The Larson Twins " !!! 🤗
