"So God told the people to build a box..."

This is NOT bible based teaching. Everything was God’s specific instructions. I commented on the Exodus lesson, too. That’s what God had done, not Mose’s. You need to place God in the center.

The Tabernacle was *not* built because the people wanted to be close to the 10 Commandments. God told the Israelites to build it because GOD wanted to live with them. The Ark was not built just to hold the 10 Commandments. The Ark is covered with the Mercy Seat, and the cloud and fire would hover over it as a representation of God's presence with the people.
I've watched several of these videos, and they do not actually teach children the Bible or biblical truth. It's a really great concept, and could be really great at teaching our kids Bible stories and truths, but the stories and lessons repeatedly miss the mark completely.

This was "almost great" . Except God gave all instructions on how it was to be made not the people and it was not for love of the commandments. Ok...maybe not great. But interesting.
