Man, i really can't help myself but to feel overwhelmed with awesomeness while watching your videos.
It feels unreal. The amount of work on the map itself is crazy, but the editing, the storytelling, even the sketches...
Being honest, it's the first time that i feel that something is unachivable for me, no matter the amount of effort. Amazing!

I prefer these kinds of story telling builds so much more than any of the [100 HOURS] builds that we normally see at this scale, so much more entertaining and inspiring to hear the story of this place, hoping to see more like this!

As a creative writer and artist, I absolutely love the lore and world building you add to flesh out the already extremely comprehensive and immersive builds. Even the names of the npc roles fit so well, especially for the theme of the travelers in this area, I do not know how you don’t have more subs
So, I may be asking the wrong questions but how is it possible that cringe bs like manhunt are getting so much attention meanwhile this doesn't even have 100k??? What in the hell happened to appreciation for hard work??? Why are we entertained by milking of dry cow named "100 days". Why?
Videos are a huge investment, and time is your capital. Most sane creators take the tried-and-true path, and it’s a wise choice. After all, we’re all people trying to make a living in a cutthroat industry. I’m either an idealist or a narcissist and have chosen to try to make a new format that works for me. Maybe it’ll work, maybe it’ll blow up in my face. Either way, I’m gonna work myself to the bone to make it happen. Creative mode is the next wave.
@@shovel241 That's some real dedication to truly good content and I like it. I don't think I've ever seen one of your videos before but I'm absolutely amazed after seeing only this one video. I'm amazed by the build itself, by how "little" time it took you and even by the way your video is cut, with all of these little out-of-game sequences. I really wish you the best look with your mission and hope you succeed.

@@shovel241 it'll work. * it already is working. I was here before 10k and that was like a couple of months ago. From a viewers point of view, you have a channel that will get big, and then most likely stay big with people continuing to watch your videos. Hopefully that gives you a bit of confidence.
its just two completely different styles of videos lol. they might as well be two different games. Manhunt is high intensity action packed and dramatic. this is much more relaxed, slow paced, and artistic. a lot of people dont have the patience or ability to appreciate this sort of work or style of video. i absolutley love it and give massive props to anyone who does this. but you dont need to put others and other types of content down in order to show appreciation for one type or the other. plus Manhunt is not that low effort xD - sure it might be quicker to make, but let me tell you the editing on that series is pure artistry
You cant see age on the internet. A 12 year old viewing a video holds the same weight as a 50 year old watching a video. This is the explanation for a lot of the things that confuse people.

This is by far one of the most impressive builds I’ve ever seen!! I genuinely wish that there was a whole book series for me to read about this incredible world and all the different heists they embark on.
I love the fact that you're not building it for your self, but that you invited other builders and stuff, it could be cool for you to keep collabing with others, it's very enjoyable.
Shovel, this style of video- weaving lore and storytelling into a build- reminds us of what minecraft has always been about: imagination and creativity. It was incredibly inspiring! Phenomenal job to both you and Achilles!

You've really inspired me. I've never even considered the idea of building with a story in mind. I literally built a castle because "i need a storage room" but it's got no life or personality. I feel like some of this; particularly the way the magic works - is very similar to 'The Wheel of Time'. I still feel like it's unique enough, though; but other than that, this build is incredible - the backstory, the landscape, the interiors - all amazing. You deserve a lot more recognition than you're getting. Amazing work!

This is really amazing, but I do wonder… they want to get closer to the sun, but they also want to stay hidden. Which one is more important? If they want to get closer to the sun, then they would live outside of the cave, and would be easily caught. But if they want to stay hidden, than they live in a cave, and can’t get very close to the sun.
"Not perfect" is a lie, that amount of work in a week is outstanding! You all did an amazing job and Id love to see more of this world!

I normally can’t keep up with lore from the sheer amount normally thrown at me all at once but this is just slow enough for me to get enough info and fast enough for me to not get bored. Love this series already!
This is a crazy video on so many levels. I love the ‘yt algorithm shift’ away from how long a build could take, towards how effectively and efficiently you could make it come to life. I love the collaboration too - but how do you sort that stuff out? Is it compensated, or just favors? Also I would’ve loved for you to walk around in the city a little longer at the end, but don’t let that take away from how crazy this video was

What would be amazing lore was if the original thief who took care of the tree ended up using his body as a magic conductor,
sacrificing his body into the tree so that the other citizens could use the trees' power, and one day if there is an epic war and the stronghold is under attack, he may be able to leave the tree and fight for his people with epic magic

I think maybe you could put powdered snow at the top, and they would need to sink through to get into the cave. Great work, it looks beautiful!

Actually your third rune for the bears isn't as Bear related as you might think. Algiz, the rune used (the Y that thinks it's a W) is actually specifically related to the Elk, as it's symbology is the branching antlers of the elk
