A little about me…
I live down the Jersey Shore & have a crafting studio tucked inside my 1920’s Tudor home. I have always been a #grannychic #cottagecore kind of girl, collecting & decorating with all my vintage finds from flea markets, estate sales & thrifting. Just a vintage soul.
I have been crafting since the 1980’s & have never stopped. I’ve done countless craft shows & found etsy in 2008. I reinvented my on line presence in 2018 & changed my name to Creative girl Vintage.
I like to keep the vintage vibe going when I am crafting, from Vintage assemblages to holiday projects. Crafting for the holidays is my favorite & my video tutorials usually always feature holiday ornament projects & seasonal themes.

My grandmother collected porcelain chicken & rooster collection…. I never really got it, as a kid. Here we are, 50+ years later and I have been a chicken keeper for nearly 8 years and I started picking up pieces like she had in her kitchen❤😂 Love to see your finds and how you create with them.

You got great new, old treasures! I got one of those dolls you gave me the name of on eBay for $20 for my daughter. Thank you! She’s going to love her for Christmas! ( she came with her arm broken off from the post office, but I’m hoping she can fix it.) She collects EVERYTHING too! So, nope, you’re not the only one who is a vintage saver, hunter.💕💕💕💕💕

Such wonderful little books you found! I have lots of little collections because I love vintage. Do you ever run into Scott from the “Old Curiosity Shop” while at the flea markets? He is a native Jersey boy but lives in Philadelphia now. He buys lots of glass (vintage dishes) and lamps. I watch his videos too. Great finds, girl!

Love the books! They are awesome. Will you use them in your assemblages? Have you done any with books? I saw where you used the little plastic figures along a book spine. Have you other ideas for the books? I have so many. Thanks also for showing your flea market. There are few where I live so you are really lucky!
I love old books too Julie. I think I will just keep these, they are so special. I altered an old book into a garden journal and did a flip through of that but I haven't did anything else with books. I will have to come up with some good ideas for us!
