So I feel like Klaus wanted Stefan to come with him at the end of season 2 not because he wanted the Ripper but because he wanted his friend back. I mean it’s obvious that they both cared and loved each other even if they didn’t want to admit it. Yes what Klaus did to Stefan was horrible but I really enjoyed their storyline together. Stefan said that Klaus had so many chances to kill him and I feel like Klaus never killed Stefan because he cared about him even after all the stuff Stefan did trying to get revenge. Even when Stefan has the chance to kill Klaus he couldn’t do it. And honestly the way Klaus looks at Stefan at the end of 3x21 makes me so sad. Klaus looked so betrayed and I feel like Stefan was definitely feeling mixed feelings in that moment.

I loved their relationship, Klaus is the first and only person who accepted Stefan for who he was and didn't try to change him, and in turn Stefan didn't view Klaus as an abomination, he did not judge him, he was not jealous of him, and didn't view himself as morally better, he viewed Klaus as a brother.
Stefan was and always will be the best friend Klaus has ever had.
if only Stefan gave Damon that much "acceptance and welcoming" 💔 which kinda tinge with Stefan's morality if we think about it from some other prespective
I really enjoyed the whole Klaus Storyline. He was always the outcast and pushed into being the villain, but after he had Hope she changed him for the better.

I love Stefans and Klaus friendship they truly cared for each other they thought of each other as brothers. I hate that they didn’t have them have more scenes together. I just love these two together! My fave characters (along with Elijah!)... as long as I think Klaus and Stefan would do anything for Elijah and Damon first, I also believe they did a lot for each other... their friendship, brotherhood was real in a moment when they kinda lost their blood brothers... they found each other and supported each other... Stefan was probably the only not Mikaelson that Klaus loved... that says a lot since he never trusted someone outside his family circle and often he struggled to trust his family members too... If the story between Stefan and Rebekah had gone on, Klaus and Stefan would have been the best brothers-in-law... Wish they could let us see Klaus' reaction to Stefan's death when Caroline told him... I like to thinkg these two old friends met in the afterlife again... 🖤🖤

I'm back, watching this masterpiece all over again and still feeling the same way I did the first time. Their relationship needed to be nursed and protected. Klaus for all his violence and impulsive decisions to hurt those around him, hardly lashed out at Stefan. Even when Stefan hurt him. Eg daggered him and worked against him to protect his friends/brother. Klaus could very easily have killed him, and yet, like Camille, he treated Stefan almost gently. It also goes without saying that Stefan was the ONLY Rebekah suitor that Klaus approved of. Hah.
I wish kol and alaric had a brother time 😘 alarol ! It would be epic imagine the weapons and wildness combination.

Stefan was the ONLY friend of Klaus Who Didn’t Envy his Power, he couldn’t Careless; in fact in the 20’s he cemented Klaus’s Idealogy that He IS in fact a King, and that He’s UNSTOPPABLE and above mere men+vampires. Stefan was off doing him, and Klaus was off doing him. That was the ONLY time in Klaus’s life where someone he didn’t know didn’t want something from him or envied him but still supported and EMBRACED Everything he was and just him in general. And it wasn’t because he was in service to him or anything, or that he was forced to Be kind to him; nothing. It was A very wholesome Genuine Friendship.

I like to think when Klaus learned of Stefan’s true death he had a drink in his honor while thinking “rest in peace old friend” or something along those lines.
Klaus also did some horrid shit to Stefan, but as far as I’m concerned, it was never as bad as the things Damon did despite the severity of it to other people. Klaus genuinely seemed to care about Stefan, and Stefan, despite everything that happened between them with Elena - cared about him. You could feel it so strongly between the two. I really appreciated their relationship. I live for more Stefan/Rebekah/Klaus.

Stefan is my favourite character and Klaus is a close second. The fact that such a beautiful relationship exists between two of my favourite characters is enough for me. I love them with my whole heart.
Underrated relationship
Stefan saving Klaus from damon was pure instinct.... Especially since stefan and the others would be better off without Klaus. Klaus shouldnt have made stefan turn his emotions off, they would've gotten along just fine without that.

Out of all this its weird(okay maybe not weird but not something you saw coming. Both cared a lot for family.) that both of them died to save family and friends in the end. And it hits differently because I wanted more of the 20s Klaus and Stefan relationship in the show.

I kinda think that it was a "temporary" friendship which happened to be at some specific timing for the two when both needed it the most
And actually Klaus met a completely different person than the one we knew for the better part of the whole show and Klaus himself somehow recognized that and trying to revitalise that old Stefan "the fun one he once met" and that irritated Damon more than anything else because it held Stefan away from the younger brother Damon truly cared for his whole life.
It was all "a short lived friendship" between the ripper of Montrea that met the hybrid monster as if the two lone wolves finally reassured themselves that they are not alone in this world especially after Stefan and Damon grew estranged after Stefan dettached Damon when he was trying to make him control his urges and on the other hand, Klaus had to part way "at least temporarily" with Elijah to distract Mikael after they fled New Orleans.
So both needed their brothers and fate gave them a short lived chance to calm their needs and after that time, neither ripper Stefan nor Elijah-less Klaus ever really existed
