Prerelease was a lot of fun. This card product is VERY well thought out. Even the way the tokens are printed is fantastic, in that they are double sided and make sense in how they are paired. Love that there will be a consistent product to give to a new player that they can use today, or for the next 5 years.
Everyone knows that Foundations is the new iteration of core sets, my dude! They were probably working on this since core sets were done away with. Doesn't mean they did it as well as they could have. They have put problematic combos directly into standard--and through doing that into pioneer as well.
every set is a commander set from beta on, that is the entire point of the format. Every card has a home Foundations is a base line of power and great way to teach and learn for new players

Foundations is a commander Set with a bajillion Commander cards and reprints. If you look at the Jumpstart packs from this Set.
Yeah there's a lot of commander cards because they are good cards. Foundations allows standard to have access to them to help bridge that gap!

I'm sorry but every set is a Commander set. Nobody really plays anything else, not in paper at least.
