MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HOLIDAYS, AND TIP 22 PLEASE PEOPLE 🎄(ps. it seems I got the controller sens wrong, my bad I was going off older times - just check Sayariu or Shadow)
Very great and correct tips! Im a former csgo pro player and im taking my time getting into destiny after years of break. From that perspective I can tell your tips are extremely valuable and genuinly help! But some of the tips you give, for example "how to be calm" with the advanced vision technique is a tip rather for pro players / or advanced people with good aim at least. Some of the tips do not apply for new to -> middle classed players. Still amazing videos subbed, liked, and merry christmas from germany
All very good advice! On point No. 12 (How to be calm), the process you described is a real thing practiced in Kendo (and other martial arts) called "Enzan no metsuke", which translates loosely into "viewing a mountain in the distance" - because that describes how your eyes should feel. It is taught as a method of preventing anticipation. By not fixing focus on any one point, you avoid basing your moves on their feet, their eyes, or their hands and thus you can't get baited into an attack or defense. Combine that with point No. 8 (Disengagement) and No. 21A (3rd Party), and you get a phenomenon taught in aerial combat called 'Target Fixation", which pilots are told to work against because chasing a target you *think* you have cornered is a good way to get shot down by someone you may or may not be aware of. I just wanted to mention these because you said in the video that you came to these through your own experience. They are totally legit science and everyone needs to put them into practice. Except opponents in my lobby: They need to know this is all totally BS. Ignore this video.
The ultimate goal is "Mushin" or a "no mind" Zen-like state. It's a bit harder to achieve in video games due to some level of sensory disconnect, but it can be done.
Over this last year I discovered how important sleep was when it comes to video games (and every part of life). Back when I used to aim train a lot, I noticed that on days where I got less sleep it was a lot harder to get close to my high scores. This was especially true for tracking and micro flicking. I downloaded a sleep app to track my sleep, and learned about sleep debt. To keep it simple, your body basically operates off of your last two weeks of sleep. Every hour of sleep you lose stays with you for two weeks. You can make it up by sleeping more though. Everyone needs 7-8 hours, no way around it, and if you keep your sleep debt low, you will be shocked at how much it affects your gaming. If anyone reads this I challenge you to do some research on sleep debt, get it under control if it’s not, and see how much better you play. It’s insane.
the best advice i got from this video is to look at the target when aiming, not the reticle. It was so crazy when I realized the reason why I kept missing so many shots was because I was looking at my reticle and trying to place my reticle to the target instead of focusing where the target is. Once I broke this habit, I immediately saw improvements to my accuracy. My hand would instinctively place the reticle on the target for me. The difference was night and day. I just wish I had seen this video sooner. Thanks a bunch!
Former competitive R6 player/coach. This is some pretty solid content and it delivers on points I don’t see a lot of places very well. I’d love to add a ton to it but I think for a short list this does very well. Thanks for putting out this video!
In my opinion, if you're playing on a controller on PC, it's almost a necessity to crank that sensitivity up past 10 if you can handle it. Then, you can modify your ADS sense to something a bit more manageable. This helps with maintaining dexterity in close-quarters fights with shotguns while also maintaining precision and stability while ADS-ing with a weapon.
As being an older gamer, I really listening to you & shadow explain the game very clear without an elitist attitude. Ironicly I watch a lot of Wala also. You & shadow are the type of people I think anyone playing with you guys learn so much. Keep up the good work

Dude I've watched alot of your videos and I have to say this is BY FAR the best video I've seen related to PVP. I'm decent at PvP. Like 200+ flaws blah blah blah mostly shotgunning. Now to keep the game interesting I've switched to sniping alot more(no I don't mean chappy) and ur tip about about always peeking on the left side or a corner has helped me alot in trials. There were times where I was getting domed by another sniper before I could even see them and literally thought Bungie servers/latency/ cheating was happening when it was actually just the whole camera angle. Wow man just wow. Idk how u figured that out but mad props. Also I've been getting alot of my GM NF friends into PvP lately and I've been trying to give them tips and what not but this video will help them much more than I could have. Thank you for your time and effort into this video. My friends and I greatly appreciate it.
Hey Logan thanks for taking the time to write this! Glad you’re enjoying and I have 2 other videos on tips like this if you’re interested! (See description)
On tip 21A - I'm accustomed to picking a target, and raising Hell on that target. 40-60% of the time, that leads to trading. That, or being too aggressive, or misplacing my nade. I'm more accustomed to picking that target, and taking it down, with or without cost. This can lead to trading, but as you said, it's better to take someone down than leave both standing.
Tip regarding the camera positioning and being able to see people before you see others. Remember if this happens to you to not get tilted. I found myself thinking people were cheating because I couldn't ever see them, but it just turned out they had the better angle. Whenever I die to something that just seems impossible I tend to just remind myself they had the better angle.
13:23 the same works with gambit invades as well, you'd be surprised as to how many people frantically look around trying to find the invader. They will always spawn away from the pack, so preparing for that is really easy. Doesn't do much against gally but it does help if you don't want to deal with them
I have to say, after following you for a few months, the type of content your pushing is on par with CammyCakes and CoolGuy IMO well prepped, explained and helpful.
Regarding Titan brain: the other day I was playing Dead Cliffs and a Dawnblade popped super in C room. What's funny is that because I have a lazy eye, I can't actually focus on the crosshair of my weapon. I am always looking around and I can never look into the middle of my screen because that takes too long to focus. In a way, having a lazy has given me this good habit of instead of looking down the barrel, following the target or scanning the whole screen and automatically controlling recoil based on how I might need it. Also nice sensitivity... That's the same as me
Hey Castle, really great video! Do you have a link to the console aim training game you mentioned or anything of that sort, I’m very interested in trying that
hello there Castle, great video! May i ask you how to use kovaak´s to improve your aim? im confused, because it has so many mode and maps, and i cant decide which one to choose.
One thing I’ve never understood about the “bait” if you push the corner only to reverse so the opponent slides out, don’t You just occupy the main radar slice on his screen? So you could technically be anywhere in that zone? Or are you trying to ping the inner ring and then back away to induce them to slide out?
Amazing video. I will say you are wrong on the controller sensitivity tho. I checked 20-25 top trials streamer all with 3500+ elo With thousands of games played and the lowest I found was actually George41cc with 8 and a .7 and jkai with 9 and. 1.0. Most of them were in the 12-16 range with some ads modifier applied .6-1.0. It’s interesting because yes shadow does play on a low sensitivity as a pc controller player but yeah surprising the majority of top controller players were on the higher end. Sayariu on 17 and 0.7 for example.
I understand the blame game tip but it's the games fault when I take cover and a few seconds later I die when the game teleports me out of cover but I do get a bamboo error message every now and then so I think it's that
Thank you for sharing. He is insanely good. Many have been between 4-6 for ages but I must admit especially since the newest changes, I’ve been seeing higher and higher with diff scalars.
Hi, I've got a question on how to deal with top tree dawnblade attacking from angles i didnt think were available to them as a hunter. I feel like 3/5 of my deaths are to them with a dead mans tale or eyasluna.
Shinobu Skips thrown upward against a wall near them will scare the shit out of them. You can run under them and spike the skips into the ground so they fly upward. I think that purple torrent grenade reaches pretty high too. Maybe wishboner tripmines can reach that high? High impact autos can ruin their balancing act up there too.
21A Third Party Focus. I play on XBox, & I have noticed that when another opponent appears close to the 1 I am already fighting, sometimes (often?) I feel the gun pulling across to target the new entrant - I wondered if aim assist had anything to do with it but have never gotten around to checking...
sometimes aim assist will literally pull your aim to the other guy who just showed up resulting in the game wanting to shoot the new guy that's gotten me killed so many times
PS5 and I run 20 sens. Yes I have to do a private match on 15 sens for warm up, but I eventually switch to 20 and they dont want to private anymore(slaughter). This is with sleep and caffeine. There is no casual gaming here.
I love your content. Been following for the better part of a year and I have felt a substantial improvement in my game. Add "follow me for more info" as the the 26th tip on this list.

So if my melee goes through him its my fault because i have to expect bungies spaghetti code?🤔

One thing I’ve never understood about the “bait” if you push the corner only to reverse so the opponent slides out, don’t
You just occupy the main radar slice on his screen? So you could technically be anywhere in that zone?
Or are you trying to ping the inner ring and then back away to induce them to slide out?
Within 5m the inner circle will ping
@@CastleContent Ty for the response….I thought to ping the inner circle you needed to be closer 🙏
“If you have over 7000 please lower your DPI”
Me with my 10k EDPI *sweats nervously*
Handicapping yourself regardless of how comfortable you are with it. Huge gamechanger in terms of your performance potential
this is awesome info
9.6k edpi but ive always used this so its prefect for me
Can someone please tell me what the soundtrack is that's playing during the "Teammates" section?

Hey, just wanted to leave a comment for engagement, excellent tips.
titan skating is directly tied to fps. you cant input more than ur fps number so gg
Amazing video. I will say you are wrong on the controller sensitivity tho. I checked 20-25 top trials streamer all with 3500+ elo
With thousands of games played and the lowest I found was actually George41cc with 8 and a .7 and jkai with 9 and. 1.0. Most of them were in the 12-16 range with some ads modifier applied .6-1.0.
It’s interesting because yes shadow does play on a low sensitivity as a pc controller player but yeah surprising the majority of top controller players were on the higher end. Sayariu on 17 and 0.7 for example.
Ya I pinned my comment to address it - my mistake for sure

ME watching this at 1am:
Oops
I understand the blame game tip but it's the games fault when I take cover and a few seconds later I die when the game teleports me out of cover but I do get a bamboo error message every now and then so I think it's that
Sill question, is more effective to bind scroll wheel (down) for skating versus scroll wheel (up)? Does it matter which?
No it doesn't matter its rly just personal preference.
Total preference honestly. I like scroll down but I know a lot of people who use up.
I see a lot of people use colorblind mode. Why is that?
Sayariu imo is the best controller player in d2 he plays on 17 with a .7 ads and sprint turn scale.
Thank you for sharing. He is insanely good. Many have been between 4-6 for ages but I must admit especially since the newest changes, I’ve been seeing higher and higher with diff scalars.
@@CastleContent same with Zami, best controller shot gunner most likely plays even higher than Sayariu.
@@CastleContent its awesome! The movement skill ceiling has increased on controller
Not gonna lie asking myself what would Wallah do has saved me in more situations than I can even count
3:04 - You gotta make sure to remember that image too lol
YUPP
you forget to say that the best weapon class to choose is handcannon and shotgun/sniper
Hi, I've got a question on how to deal with top tree dawnblade attacking from angles i didnt think were available to them as a hunter. I feel like 3/5 of my deaths are to them with a dead mans tale or eyasluna.
Just do what hunters do. Hop around like a bunny and go invis.
Hey I wa t to play titan but after the nerfs I don't know what subclass to run, what do you think?
Working on a vid for that 😄
Let's gooooo I'm so excited, I also can't believe you replied! It means a lot.
Hey a question? @Castle Content EDPI would change with resolution? You say below 7000 is that with 1080 p? I run 1440p so It would be different?
No difference nope. I do recommend higher mouse DPI for higher resolutions but then you’d need to reduce in game sensitivity due to the increased DPI.
What do i do if my mouse has 18000 dpi?
I have a problem with #21 as well...
can someone explain how people play with such low sens. i feel way too sluggish any lower than 20 with a max .8x sprint turn scalar
I love your content. Been following for the better part of a year and I have felt a substantial improvement in my game. Add "follow me for more info" as the the 26th tip on this list.
Haha thank you Matt!!
I hate when the enemy damage glitches me on purpose I shouldn’t blame the game on that or when my melee misses for no reason I should of expected that (had the happen on a frozen target right in front of me)
I recon equip 6 malfeasance in iron banana and laugh so much your jaw eats your brain :)
