This is how a tutorial is made. Very underrated HRV tutorial video. You should add more videos pertaining to HRV dismantling. You'll get more views and subscriptions
No problem, the overall process should be similar. Just remove the bumper and that should give you access to replace the broken cover. Some covers can even be done without removing the bumper.
You think the 2021 lx similar do I really have to take the bumper off to put the foglights in..? I don't work on cars but rather try to do it myself just to save money
Thanks just recieved the foglights. I'll have to follow your steps because I'll have paranoia when it come to the wiring. Everything else I should be fine.
Wow this is great! Thank you for this video! I saw this kit on Amazon. Do you know if installation would void warranty on an HRV 2018 LX by any chance? Also, is there a daylight option for the fog lights? I see these have a yellow tint.
This should not void your warranty as you are not doing anything irreversible. You can install some LED bulbs that fit into the same housing if you want a whiter light. I have done this on my old Civic.
@@diydad2 oh that’s awesome! Thanks for the reply. Did the kit come with everything included? Wires? Button to activate? Zip ties? I am thinking of asking my Honda dealership to install for me and have them do it.
I cannot post the link as it will be taken down but you can search ebay for "For 16-18 Honda HRV Vezel Front Fog Light Lamp Switch Wiring Kit - Black Clear" it $49.95 total.
HELLO Thanks for this video!! so there is 1 ground wire u tapped/connect on the body chassis near the fog lamp BELOW & 1 near the battery? So is this the same 1 wire running but connected in 2 places ?
No problem. The one that goes to the body is the ground for the light harness. The one that went to the battery is for the switch (button) harness. I hope that clears it up.
@@diydad2 yes it did THANKS the one i got from ebay, the ground is just 1 black wire all the way to the switch harness. Wasn’t able to make it work yet. But thank you 🙏
You did not show how the end of the wire was fished from the engine compartment to the inside. You just showed how to remove the iside panel and plug the wire into the switch.
this is too details😂 for me i just open up both side bumper and remove the clips above the front grill then just repalce the fog lamp no need to take out whole bumper becuz ltr u want to adjust back would be a problem for people that first time to do this

Great job Sir..Watching from France..Hat's off
Thank you
Very detailed video..really appreciate your efforts
No problem, glad I could help.
Thank you for this! Any idea if the 2022 hrv is the same process? My foglight cover was torn out and needs replaced

It's possible to connect the red wire in the fuse #19 instead of #33 ? (In the manual, it correspond to the auxiliary fog lights)

The 2021 model is very similar so it should be the same maybe a few little changes along the way but it will be pretty straight forward.
Thanks just recieved the foglights. I'll have to follow your steps because I'll have paranoia when it come to the wiring. Everything else I should be fine.
Did you ever get to make a video on hrv transmission drain/refill ?
I did not, we got Mazda CX5 now but the HRV is still in the family. If I get to do that maintenance I will make a video.

@@RandomGimmick yes, the kit came with everything needed to make it function.
I saw your previous message about the kit. Yes, that kit has everything that came on the one I purchased.
@@diydad2 thanks. I got them and they are great!
What specific kit did you use and how much was it? Can you post links to it? Thanks.
You'll find this kit on Amazon or ebay cost $48.99 on both sites
