I booked Freedom of the Seas for April on a three day cruise. I needed two points to make Diamond before my transatlantic. I'm excited to go on a new (to me) class of ship. It looks a lot nicer than I thought.
Just catching up but I'm happy to see this class. Looks like something we would TOTALLY cruise on to go back to Royal. We only did the Allure and it was TOO big for us. Turned us off immediately.
Sacrilege!!! There was PRIME RIB on the menu and no partaking?!?! Well, more for the rest of the crowd! LOL Already enjoying this series and eagerly awaiting Mr Editing Jay to get the next episodes done and posted!
I love your videos! This one was particularly fun- you had pictures of Vision of the Seas- we were on Vision that day. It was very interesting to see our ship in comparison to the other ships. Thanks!
Glad you expressed confusion about the ice show theme; I was trying to pick up what they were putting down but just couldn`t grasp it lol! The performers were good though; very talented.
Wow Freedom has all the good restaurants like Izumi, playmakers and that Taco place something Fresh. Do you remember was that Moises leading the line dance?
Just returned from Freedom. Very true there are only two electric plugs in cabin, which are shown at the desk. No plugs by beds for those using CPAP breathing machines.
From the entertainment to the activities on the ship I felt like I was watching a high school quad. Look like people try to be grown ups but they weren't quite succeeding
i have never been on a Freedom class, just once i went on a Voyager class and did not like it, but Freedom class looks interesting, i have done Oasis class and Quantum which I love as ships! thank you for your wonderful videos!!
Hey Jay what are those two big round ball looking things next to the ships exhaust mats is it like a Radar or something? Excuse my ignorance of ships 😢😅
My running gag is to refer to them as "internet balls" because they do have something to do with communication, but I believe radar is more likely!! :D ~Jay
Will Be On Freedom September 8-22nd 2024. Back To Back Cruise Thanks To A Casino Offer And My Annual Prime Cruise. 2 weeks on board. Will be Diamond Plus After This Trip🎉
If you like to play a while with lower bets, I love either the Lightning Link or Dragon Link because you can usually play 50 cent spins and the bonus games are pretty exciting. I once won $1,000 jackpot on a 50 cent bet on Lightning Link onboard Carnival Magic, so that was definitely exciting!! :D ~Jay
Normally just the size of the ship and the features that it has onboard. Smaller ships tend to have fewer restaurants, show venues, etc. One step above this ship is the Oasis class which has a "park" with trees in the middle of the ship, a big dry slide on the back, a whole carnival-themed area with a carousel, and sooooo much more!! :P
Congrats on reaching Diamond Plus! I just Googled how many points that is and I am gobsmacked by the jump from Diamond Plus (175) to the next level up, Pinnacle Club (700!) 🤯 Think you’ll make Pinnacle by the end of the decade? 😜

We're treadmill folks when it comes to gyms, so Freedom OTS was pretty impressive! We loved a few of the features in the Viva gym like chilled towels and the awesome water dispenser, so it might be a close second, ha ha... :P

Freedom is my favorite ship so far. Perfect size and not so crowded.
Freedom class is the best for me, just the right size & love the open promenade..
Freedom was our first Royal Ship so it holds a special place in my heart and memories
Independence of the seas last year was my first…. Both a part of the freedom class I’m hoping to sail on freedom of the seas in May of this year.

Was on her a number of years ago balcony. Over Xmas. Had beautiful Xmas Eve Carol Sing and both daily Hanukkah and Xmas Services and daily Mass.
Love the Freedom. I have been on it 5x! Can't wait to go on her again.

We heard the pool is above the Promenade and the "mermaid" is actually a swimmer diving down from the pool.
Can you do more all inclusives like iberostar puerto plata. You are the reason we went to occidental at xcaret.
No plans for any all-inclusive trips right now, though we did love them when we did them!! :D
The Freedom class is basically a stretched version of the Voyager class.
