I don't believe it is about unity. I'm not sure if you understand every single line of the song. It's about proving to those who disparage and belittle you that you can be successful. @@lottedeguzman1711 the whole concept of alamat is to incorporate Filipino culture in a foreign concept (which in this case pop groups) so it's very creative of them to choose members from different regions. I get your point po pero it's not their concept. They use multiple languages talaga in most of their songs but does that mean unity na po ba kaagad ang concept? No. Gusto lang po nila gawing mainstream ang iba't ibang lengwahe ng Pilipinas. And the song Hala is about calling out your bashers rather than 'encouraging bayanihan' or 'unity.'
