You're EP was already a really good start but this is definitely an improvement from that. To me this album mostly sounds way more soothing and chill, I really like "Dreamcast Lost In Space" and "Mind Shrouded In Shadows". Anyways I hope you're doing well man. I remember coming across your announcement about quitting while I was just scrolling through UA-cam and it was a major blow. I really liked your videos but I totally understand why you did it. I won't comment on your break-up because that's none of my business, but I will say from personal experience that UA-cam analytics are a legit poison for motivation. You could pour so much of your time and effort into making a video that you're genuinely proud of only to get nothing out of it and the only thing you could ask yourself is "why do I even bother?". It's so easy to forget you're doing all of this as a hobby when you get so hooked on seeing numbers going up and down. I myself have thought about quitting plenty of times and the only thing that helps snap me out of it is reminding myself why I started doing this in the first place. Hey man thanks for taking time to listen to the album. Yeah I’ve had a lot of ups and downs since that announcement as I felt I just needed a break from the long form video content. I decided to pick up music as its engaging and has a lot to learn and improve on but I’m able to make stuff in way less time as most of my videos would take. I may decide again to make video game content in the future but for now I may just make music here and there while relaxing. I appreciate you leaving a comment and I’m glad you enjoyed this album a lot. I’ll remember to keep your advice in mind as I go forward though for sure
Well coming back to update. Guess I'm back to doing reviews again plus the music. I really did do a lot of thinking like you said about why I do this and while the views and stuff are nice and do help motivate in some ways. I really realize I do this stuff because I love being creative and making things that I myself want to watch or listen to. I just again was dealing with heavy heavy depression stuff and while I'm still not fully better. I'm for sure at least better enough to try again at being creative and doing what I love. I honestly can say as well your comment did live rent free in my head for a while and did help me come to terms with a lot of why i make stuff so I thought it was only right to come back and tell you thank you. I decided to steer the ship through the rocks and come out for the better. If you ever want to collaborate or what not man let me know! I would be honored to be on one of your videos and the Hugo one was well made.
