You clearly haven't seen any Waymo parking lot videos. Self driving cars are stupid around other self driving cars. They won't be able to take verbal directions from the guy in front of the EOL building or having to wait in line if there is a delay without blocking other cars.
Thanks Brad! LCRA substation expansion project: @ 15:50 (Left) Construction has begun for a third transformer. New power supply to the building: @ 16:33 Not clear from this view but all cable pulls through the duct-banks are now complete. Cable splicing and cable termination remains. Rooftop cable trays: @ 16:57 While cable pulls to the building are complete (bottom by the wall), cable trays on the north end remain empty (top). Sand Hill pipeline project: Far southeast end: @ 4:51 Beginning of trenched section. @ 5:14 (Towards the bottom) HDD bore under the 130 freeway is complete and pipe pulled through. The other end of the bore can be seen here @ 5:43 (Bottom by the excavator). The growing families of transformers: @ 8:13 31 transformers. @ 9:05 84 transformers.
Could they do a grid on the floor of level 1 that uses induction charging at a very specific point, such as the 2 feet of a bot? That way they could do some task 24 hours a day. Granted light would be used hence the glazing but otherwise just power. Wouldn't even need oxygen lol.
@@memrjohnno I realize you may not agree with me but I don't have a lot of confidence in Tesla's ability to produce a robot. Just like I was skeptical of their tunnel. And we all know how that turned out. 😊Also, keep in mind that Musk has been promising FSD (which the robots are supposedly based on) every year since 2016! Regarding robots.... Other companies are lightyears ahead in development of the technology. Now Tesla supporters may say those robots are not intelligent. But do they have to be? There are many companies developing advanced AI. And that advanced AI can be put together with the advanced robots.
@@DavidJohnson-tv2nn Tunnel just needs new ground plates with the optics being the biggest issue. I Don't do it professionally but I've been coding since '79 and was sceptical myself regarding FSD because it would require massive internal compute. It could be done for sure but doing it with lines of 'if, then, else' logic gate type code would be insanely wasteful. With the various compute clusters they and others now have at their disposal, it's possible to 'plug in' vast amounts of data into neural nets to train FSD (in this case) using what is known as the 'monkey see, monkey do' method using around 2 billion miles of multi sensor data. Downside is that the data is of humans having driven so it will also learn the faults of the humans such as not always coming to a full stop at a stop sign. As to the bots. Optimus will certainly be a thing but as you indicate, it will certainly not be alone in the marketplace though one would have to differentiate between android, robot and automation equipment. The latter two can and would be simply programmed / coded while the first would need to act as to its training. Ultimately they should ask all production staff to adorn head mounted video cameras to train the bots who will eventually replace them.

Seems Tesla has no problems ramping up Cybertruck!
Thanks Brad

Love your music and in-depth shots.
Merci👍👍👍
Can't believe they get out of the new cybertrucks and step into the red clay.

Damn they gotta get self driving working at the factory. So much shuffling of cars from place to place.
