Thank you so much for the help. We ordered this awning April of 2021 and got it in November so we are just putting it on. We agree with you that there are really no instructions!
Thanks so much for the video. We lost our old awning in a storm so ordered the Shademaker as a replacement. Had to wait over a year because at one point they weren’t even taking orders due to backlog. But now it came in less than a week, but as you said the directions aren’t the best. After watching your video though, got it right together and on the popup! Thanks again. I think we are going to love it, so much easier to put up and take down than our old one!
Joe thank you man. Just got my new 9ft. Rainy day and I’m in the garage scratching my head and came across your video. Really appreciate the time you took to do this. Helped me a lot. Hello from Ottawa Canada!
Can’t believe they use flat head screws. I agree I dislike working with flat head screws. I also had issues with hardware where screws did not work due to manufacturing defect so having extra is nice. Great job putting together.
Another most awesome video! Love how you guys get along so well, letting each other have their say and treating one another with respect. (Or were those parts when you butted heads edited out before publishing? Haha) No doubt the folks who own this camper now are enjoying this awning.
Thank you so much for your video. We purchased the exact same awning, and the instructions were terrible. We were replacing a previous awning, so we didn't have quite as much work to do with the rail, but it was nice to see how to put it up and down. ,😉
I have a 2004 bayside with the same roof. Similar problems and did the rubber roof too. however my damage is a lot worse than yours and i'll have to do a full rebuild. Any chance you know where I can find some roof specific resources for a rebuild?
I personally don't like the idea of backward rolling tarp into a downward hanging "BAG" !!!! I am searching for a unit for side of a van- - - this is close, except for that 'BAG'
Hello Is this company still in business ? I have sent an email to the company as to where this could possibly be purchased in Ontario Canada or if it can be shipped up here.
You are so right about the lack of clarity in the supplied instructions! Your video made it possible to do without messing it up.

So easy even Rachel can make it!
Nice ! We had a Jayco pop up with an awning and later we added a screen room. Long time ago (1980’s) but it sure was fun!
We had a Jayco in the 90s and loved it. Solid construction, no bells or whistles but it performed very well. Our young boys enjoyed playing in it.
So yall really did do alot to this and now yall have sold it now wow it was really nice
I hope my wife becomes a Handy Mandy too! 😊
Great job!
Great job guys
