I finally contacted them about mine and then said they no longer carry the parts and its discontinued. I asked them for a 3d file or schematic of the piece so I could print one. They said that with the manufacturer of the parts so that can't send that. So I am now left to either try to design my own piece or find one online.
Lucid never replied to my issue with these brackets. There's a small crack left side of my LS31le's that I fixed with tiny zip ties. Put 2 together and pulled them as tight as I could, a set of 3 loops around each bracket. The headset is roughly 3yrs old with zip ties on for a year, the crack hasn't grown in size since.
I also emailed them (mine are completely broken on BOTH sides, I have the headset held together with duct tape right now), they responded asking for my mailing address. I responded with it, and haven't heard from them since. This was over a month ago. I live in Canada though so Idunno...
They replied in a few days telling me they'd replace it but then took a couple weeks for the pieces to arrive. No updated email after saying they'd replace. I'd follow-up again if I was you.
I did a follow up email a month later, no response to that. It's been 4 months total now. I guess they aren't willing to correct this blatant product fault. I managed to get a pre-order in for the new Microsoft Xbox Wireless Headset that was just announced last week, so these duct-taped LucidSound phones can go straight into the trash once that arrives.
I will count my blessings that I heard from them then, I did have to wait a while for the parts to come back in stock but they did send them. I'll be honest I've just held off replacing the brackets as long as possible in case the same happens again. It does appear the bracket and the headrest end clips which the wear off the bracket itself have been modified slightly, though nothing I would say that makes far them superior that I can tell. The modded clips may sit in better and therefore restrict the free movement more than before or it could be that because the original ones appear to be worn on a corner that in itself might explain the free movement with the older ones. I've taken pics of them side by, unfortunately it's right hinge new and left old, but there isn't much difference beyond the lettering.
Same dang issue for me. Had a ticket open since Feb 2021. Still don't have the pieces they said they were sending. Gave me a USPS tracking and nothing still. They closed my ticket as solved too. Absolute trash support so far.
That stinks. They closed the ticket on me so I didn't know for sure if it was coming but then it showed up. Obviously if it's from February that's a big issue.
Do you know where to buy them online? I had the same issue and they just sent me a new headset and do not what the old ones back. I’d like to repair the old ones and have them as back up.

Did you end up designing replacements? They haven't even replied to my email.
The LS50x is basically identical. I wonder if parts for that headset would work!

Same response, I'm still waiting since Nov 2020. I have emailed them again to see if I can get the replacement brackets.

@Zoey That is the route I originally tried too. I said I would gladly pay for the parts + shipping. They stopped responding

Will it make much difference if the quality of the replacement parts are exactly the same
It'll get you a few more years but you're right, it'll eventually break.
Do they send you some or can you buy them on line
I didn't find them online to buy but I contacted them and they sent me them for free.

I didn't find them anywhere online when I looked.
piece of junk...used mine handful of times just before covid. just pulled this out of the bag and first thing that happens is the hinges crack.
