You know what I would love even more about this wonderful game? This idea for a mirror boss. At the Volcano stage, you play an extra stage as Chunky Kong, the strongest Kong. The Ground Pound is replaced by the Primate Punch and you have 5 hearts. You have to beat 6-7 waves of Tikis. After you beat all of them, Tiki Tong himself, unseen, hypnotizes you, showing the true extent of his hypnotic power. Then you have to save Chunky as Donkey and Diddy. Why? 1. To make you feel like a badass. 2. Gameplay variety. 3. To show the difference between Tong and his underlings in power even better (though they did a good job already). 4. Mirror boss! 5. Feels like more Kongs are in the fight. 6. It becomes more personal. Do you like it? Also, the Tikis are very well-written villains. K.Rool is very very cool, but he does twirl his mustache. The Tikis would be justified and misunderstood if they didn't use truly heinous methods like enslavement of animals.
I thought of some kind of DLC for DKC Tropical Freeze, like: the Kong family is coming home, taking a shortcut through the volcano dome, when Donkey kong accidentally slips on the ice and drops the horn into the lava, resurrecting Tiki Tong into a type of creature mixed with lava and ice, then he proceeds to create 3 more islands with 3 new tikis.
When I was younger, I always thought the Tikis just went behind the bosses and followed them around. Then I found out they literally go inside of them.
Actually he was being possessed and then he snapped out of it for a few seconds and before the chicken could process what happened the tiki hypnotizes him again.
Fun fact: all of the tiki trances are just kalimba tiki's trance music with an additional instrument depending on what tiki is using the trance. Except tiki tong who just has a whole song for himself.
Nobody realized that the transe music is in the boss. If you look at the Colonel Pluck boss theme their is an accordion/concerterina like theme and the accordion/cordion tiki hypnotized the chicken. The tiki transe music matches up with the theme.

@@ALX-yg7nsmaybe in order to dodge it they could go meta and have you pause and lower the volume via going to the settings screen (the in game one, not the system one), or they could just take the easy way out and make it a "look away" to dodge attack, it should be able to do more than just invert the controls in my opinion, maybe color code the waves so you know what effect the fighter will get if it's not dodged. Purple: inverted controls Pink: flower Yellow: sleeping Blue: timer effect (can either slow down the fighter or make them uncontrollably fast) Also another 2 cool attacks would be tiki tong shooting parts of his mouth rapidly at the fighter (like that one attack dharkon does with the little energy balls) in multiples of 3. And him using the molten banana goop that he used to create his hands to try and deal fire damage.
