Great vid, but every year I still say any half way good rider will make your bike look good, or any bike for that matter. Tell us why Vertigo is a good option. What are it's benefits? What makes it superior? Why should I spend the extra money on one? I own an R2. I love it. For everyone else though, what makes these bikes special and worth our hard earned money?

I think they have more power and are lighter. Buying any brand new trials bike is a waste of money if you ask me. Yes they get knocked around a bit but generally don't do much 'work' and a used one at half the cost of a new one is more than enough for most people and will last forever if looked after. The only 'new' thing about new trials bikes is the weight really.

@richardmiddleton7770 yeah,.. I guess that's depends on the previous owners. Purchased two used Scorpas only a couple years old each and had to deal with stripped bolts, neglected linkages, and on a 2016 (purchased 2018) main bearings on the way out and a blown shock.
With Vertigo specifically there was certainly a period of experimentation and "learning" on the first couple years of production. Even still Vertigo keeps refining and tweaking things, but mostly it's more in the way of improvement, vs flaw and failure fixing like the earlier bikes. Personally I wouldn't recommend anything earlier than a 2020 R2. Not that the older bikes can't serve you well, but based on the evolution I feel like 2020 R series and newer have things sorted to he best base level.
I do agree that any bike in good shape built in the last 10 years is more than good enough (if well maintained) for most of us average level riders. I purchased my Vertigo new (with the intent to keep for several years) and like knowing it's history and only having myself to blame for anything damaged due to poor wrenching or maintaining. Certainly understand your point though.
My main point in my original comment was directed at Vertigo asking them to speak about the bike. After owning mine for multiple years I really like it, and have seen the benefits of EFI and the Vertigo design vs other bikes. For somebody that hasn't owned one often times (at least locally) its just a really pricey bike that people can't justify because they don't know what they are actually paying for. Why spend 11000 when I can spend 9500 on a carbed bike. Those things aren't addressed by Vertigos marketing IMHO.

Vertigo should have its 4-stroke engine bike.
