I wish Nike offered a MG plate, the fields down here in Texas during the summer are just hard, dry dirt.
Deffo would be perfect for that!

My friend has the MG soleplate which he had to order online from overseas as not available in stores in my country.
The soleplate seems to perform great from what I can see when he plays. He walks on tarmac etc after games & they are still v durable.
I am same shoe size as you, the Pumas fit better half a size or even a full size smaller for me esp lengthwise.

Can't speak about the MG regarding durability w/ Futures since the sole plate is completely different, but the ag/fg variant falls apart nearly every game. I have to wash, dry and glue after every game. Ultra's reliability is about the same. Probably the best durability I've seen is w/ Asics. They have rivets in the toe plate plus they have high arch support out of the box. There just not speed boots. I do have first gen Ultra w/ MG, and it is holding up well, but it's only used for indoor turf.
I have the fg/ag cleats and it fits perfectly, I hadnt gotten an issue and it’s been a month

Love the MG soleplate! Only thing I wish is that Puma would do versions that match more closely to the FG soleplate in terms of shape. I've definitely found inconsistency between FG and MG sizing at times.

I've always used k leather cleats and I come from copa sense.1. I just bought the future's half size down for a good offer (120usd), but they are reaaaally snug out of the box(i have wide feet), almost to the point to which I'm considering return them and get the pred accuracy.1 . I'm concerned pumas won't break in as I'm expecting them to. Would you recommend give it a try or going for the preds? Copas pure.1 are in my mind too but almost discarded them due to durability issues they have.
In the video I said it took me a few sessions to break in and wear without discomfort or pain, I think you should should try and power through
The Future 1.3’s are one of my favorite boots. I really like the padded liner in the toe box, just wish they had kept some of it through the midfoot for more consistency.
How’s the midfoot liner on the Ultimate? I believe I’m going to order the Japan version w HG tooling. Cheers.
Mid foot was okay, not as padded as the toebox

Great review, just ordered a pair, i felt like the studs are too long on the FG cleat for AG pitch, I felt like stuck in the ground every step I took, hoping these are good so I have to wear turf shoes
I deffo still need to try the FG Version of these boots
That’s weird I have the FG version and mostly use it on AG pitches but I keep slipping especially around the heel area, sharp turns become very risky as I keep playing.
The cleat is great, just hate my school used the hockey field as the intramural soccer field, so mg is still not enough for the traction, had to buy a tf cleat

Does the upper stretch in the toebox area? I had to go half a size down for the tf-soleplate (cage) variant, because the fit was a bit roomier than for the studded (fg, mg) soleplates for some reason. My toes are now slightly poking the tip of the boot, which creates some numbness, but not bad enough to keep me from playing. However, I would like them to break in a bit to lose the numbness sensation.

Is the MG soleplate less flexible than the FG? I heard from several reviews that puma MG soleplates tend to be thicker or less flexible for some reason. I'm planning to get the MG for the future 6.1 so I sure hope to hear from u sir!

Tbh I haven’t worn either since I reviewed them if that’s helps lol. But GX was easier to break in

Z1.4 feels better than the ultimate.
Z1.4 laces stay tight & lock in first attempt.
Ultimate loosen up & cause slippage & too easy to over tighten, cutting off circulation.
Ultimate looks better, just not as durable or comfortable.
How did this boot perform on natural grass???
I didn't wear on grass as it's not made for grass with the MG soleplate, hope that helps
