Not sure why I should this in order to open my port for an FTP connection (and use my computer as my server) - could someone explain this to me please?
Hello i am able to open ftp server only in lan , wan is not working. my router has virtual server and i did exactly the same process but not working. please help
if i wanted to do this in windows 7, it is almost the same process. do i have to add a new user to this PC if i wanted to give access to someone remotely who doesn't use this computer... more specifically can you add more logins to the ftp site with only one user on the PC ?
i dont see a way to add a password for users that dont have an account on the pc...? and also is there a way to add multiple directories or drives without making another one on a different port number?

Yes you can more logins, make sure you give them permissions for that folder and make sure you add them in ftp authorization part.

can you do client server model in Linux or Ubuntu ?
nice job & my P.C is download for now but I have to reinstall windows 10 I'm thinking of going back to windows 7 what do you think? ;-)
W10 is good if you have a relative new PC, but W7 is better for older PC's
