Marvellous. I'll be passing through South Pelaw tomorrow on my way to Chester-Le-Street. I'll be passing over the the real version of Pelton Lane Bridge
There's nothing wrong with talking. especially about the hobby. actually is one of Favourite things. mind once i get going on this subject there's no stopping. so yes i know your predicament. cheer's Tony.
@@TONYNORTHEASTERN Absolutely, I love standing out the front of the layout talking to the viewers. I've spoken to people who used to live in the railway cottages, the postman who used to deliver there and signalmen who worked the box.
Thanks so much for posting. Loved seeing so many 'old friends'. I remember 92167 banking the ore trains (1962). When on a coal trip it could, and did take 13 hoppers rather than 12. It had a mechanical feed and used to create huge 'clag'. I remember 92006 from York was also around in the early sixties, but was not equipped with pumps so was used only on banking and coal. interested to see the V1/3. Is it 67680? I remember 67656/7/8 were regulars but I have no record of 67680. Would love to have it confirmed. Anyway, thanks for such a lovely presentation.
I know where you are coming from but the alternative would have been to listen to lots of parts of conversations that were the actual sounds on the original video. I do try to get footage when the layout is 'at home' without any of the background noise.

I pass over the bridge a couple of times a week as I live locally. Shame that there is almost nothing left to see these days.
Brilliant Video. many thanks for sharing. Tony.
Thanks Tony, didn't get as much time as I'd have liked to film, when I wasn't operating I spent most of my time talking.

Thank you for the comments, they are appreciated. Off the top on my head it is 67690 but may be getting renumbered.
Top layout south pelaw junction had some great layouts there for the 2024 show.
Cheers Mick
Music absolutely killed it for me, sound of wheels on rails please. Well done for a brilliant model.

@@jdmodels1968 Don't understand, if you can put on music you could put on train sounds.
And if I put train sounds on someone would inevitably complain that the loco on screen didn’t sound like that…
@@jdmodels1968 Guess you can't win. Good to see Q6's, could hear them from my bed in Billingham, taking coal into ICI.
@@jdmodels1968 probably me for one
