Waddingham looks great. Young strong quick. Good feet, holds the ball up really well and has an eye for a pass too. He can turn quickly out of trouble and bring others into the game. This lad could develop into a top class forward very quickly and with his build, strength and pace should do well in Prem. Buy quick.
Agreed with Lo Celso, Gil, et al. We have an established first x11. Sort of. We should be adding better quality players to these positions and not trying to put square pegs into round holes to use an overused analogy. Cheers Chris. COYS!

I think we should bring back Modric (for depth), sign Dybala on his release Clause and put most of our budget on Santiago Gimenez, we'd get back into trophy contention for sure.

I live in Australia and watch the league Wadingham plays in. He is no wonder kid that’s for sure. Australia do a terrible job of developing young players for the prem.

Spurs need an honest no nonsense CF who gets the job done and is not a media darling with a big head. Chris Woods or similar would be perfect in the position and would bang in goals each week with the way Spurs play. The Korean lad at Wolves also would fit.

Well said, Chris - we've had more than our fair share of 'Blondels and Ricketts'. Football is all about the now. The club sells us the old 'we are in transition' line every season and, as loyal Spurs fans, we lap it up. I will be honest, I am absolutely astounded that some of these players (Gil, Lo Celso, Tanganga, Sess, Davies, Spence, Rosen, Royale and Reguilon) are still on the payroll. Richarlison has been a miss and Werner is not good enough (and, yes, Ali Gold, I do have eyes and I do trust them!).
I'm sure if this Waddingham went to Celtic he would be among the top scorers in the league, but we aren't going to bridge the gap with these kinds of signings and if he's just another bench warmer than why the hell did we sign that Veliz kid?
Next season we should get Ryan Cristie, he is headed for the top

we'll get a measure of how far off we are when the gooners roll into town, if we play our normal game, open season at the back, and a damp squib up front, a humiliation is on the cards. the one blessing, we're consistently inconsistent, we could be in for an episode of tales from the unexpected.
Not suitable for Premier League ? Hard League, we needs players strong and fit enough to play. Sometimes is just isn't in the cards to play on.

This Spurs team has so many holes in it that need filling with quality players.
We need to offload the dead wood like Richarlison and Werner and Bissouma and get serious serious upgrades, and also our midfield has so many holes in it and we've got No decent ball winners and this ridiculous high line of POSTACOGLOU has got to be adapted because it's costing us big time 😮

Mmmm.....Waddingham is no wonderkid (not yet anyhow). He's better off remaining in Australia in order to hone his craft. If he moves to England he will get limited match time. and will not improve. In other words, it's too early for him to leave the A-league.

Waddington isnt great, he has shown potential but the A league is below the Scottish league standard.We take Euro/sth American has beens who look good but their best days are long gone.Irakunda(Adelaide) is the only classy stand out.Bayern have signed him.
He's a teenager with some potential. I doubt he'll even cost his next club a million aud$. Worth a punt to me.
