The way this kid moves through the lane and the perimeter, always on the watch for a cutter, while at the same time ready to beat his defender off the dribble or pull up, is amazing. It's something that you can only inherently possess as a pg. The way his body moves is so fluid and purposeful; he's in full control of his space on the court. The byproduct of this is that can find the open man, beat his defender, and get a shot up whenever he wants all in a seemingly effortless way.
yea.. your right.. kentucky is constantly producing elite level talents for the nba because Calipari is such an excellent coach..u just reminded me and now im kind of excited to see what both them do under coach cal..
Calipari is really good at finding one and done freshmen and NBA ready players. Calipari's greatest asset is his scouting and recruiting process probably from his experience as an NBA coach.
Cant wait to watch him at UK. He going to be a great player for us. He can attack, take contact, IQ looks great. Only thing i see that could hold him back is that he doesnt look that fast, that could cause some problems running Cals playstyle with running the floor. but cant wait.
this kid puts his whole body into his dribbling and crossovers. what i have noticed lately is that way too many people rely on their upper body only, (arms, mostly) and forget about the footwork.
This is a fantastic highlight video from aaron harrison. Just cause its not all flashy dunks and 3s doesnt make this a bad video. It show cases his skills in almost every aspect! The only thing I would have enjoyed more would be to see a few more dimes but besides that this kid looks nba ready. No that doesn't mean I think he's nba superstar caliber, but his game seems refined in every way you would want from a pg. Only growth from here.
Saw him once last year. I was in awe of his ability. Clearly the better of the twins. Both lack explosiveness, but he makes it up with his quickness and good decision making. Very smooth player imo.
when i heard the harrison brothers were a pg/sg combo.. i was expecting something different. after this video they both just seem like a sg type. wish the vid was filled with more sick passes. thats what i like to see when i hear about a pg prospect
They nba ready, teams gotta fit style of play, big strong guards that do what they do don’t fit every teams scheme. It’s not a matter of skill or ability with those guys.
I agree with you 100%. He only had about 6 or 7 passes in the whole video and none really made my jaw drop they were all pretty simple. Andrew seems like more of a swingman/slasher than a PG. Overall Hill is a better PG.
He's great player possibly NBA ready, but I'm glad he took an extra step by going to College. I hope he learns what it takes to be in the NBA. He can be a big star
Very few High School players are NBA ready. For every Lebron, Kobe, and KG that comes out of HS I can name 3 draft busts that came out of HS. One of the main reasons the 1 and Done rule is in effect is for NBA teams to see these players dominate at the elite level because a lot of players can dominate HS but very few can dominate in College and the Pros
He is NBA ready from a physical standpoint. He's basically a longer Deron Williams not ultra quick but can just bully his way to the basket. Or if that's too high of praise just think of a Tyreke Evans but with a little better handle, little better jump shot and sees the floor better.
Watched them both in the same tournament over the summer. Kasey Hill avg 9pts-3ast-4reb in 3 games. Andrew avg 19pts-7ast-9reb....There is no one IN COLLEGE right now that can keep Andrew out of the lane...
Do you think there is another coach in college that can develop players better than Calipari? I don't think it's even close...Plus he knows how to win, and he's 100% honest with the players. Cal is a no-BS kind of guy that will not only develop players' skills but really help their mentality.
@Deonis Torrealba covers same amount of ground because he is taller compared to a smaller lighter guard, footwork and getting good angles is more important than "footspeed" .
2 things, 1 if i ever said i could be somebody that probably means i think im better than him 2.he wasn't being sarcastic, he explained how and everything...nobody goes thru that much being sarcastic
i agree with the physical abilities, but this is him vs high school dudes you know what i mean... it's gonna be tougher at UK to do this stuff while having to satisfy everyone else with touches... i hope for the best for this guy cus he seems very humble and composed on the court
He is the total package right now. I mean he ready for the League. And Calipari only gonne improve him like he did with Wall, Knight and Teague. It ould be nice if he got the chance to pass to big Julius Randle i mean then 10 assist would be guaranteed per nyte
nothing beats the Fab 5 in my opinion...last years Kentucky team was close...but the Fab 5 changed the face of college basketball...remember those short shorts? Yeah they changed that too...
Wow bring me back to these days 2013, hyper dunks and basketball after school 💔
too nice with the crossovers and great footwork!

he is so efficient he doesnt play games he just goes to work i love that
yea.. your right.. kentucky is constantly producing elite level talents for the nba because Calipari is such an excellent coach..u just reminded me and now im kind of excited to see what both them do under coach cal..
I was wondering why I love this so much... Then I realized the beat is just to dope and it came out on my birthday
I hate how people say the Harrison twins aren't NBA ready u don't need to stay all 4yrs to prove ur NBA ready these guys will have bright futures
+Benjamin Nieto LOOOOOL
what do you think now is there still hope?
aepr84 😂
Welp…
@@Shottamanrambolook better than Bronny 😂 😂 😂
Calipari is really good at finding one and done freshmen and NBA ready players. Calipari's greatest asset is his scouting and recruiting process probably from his experience as an NBA coach.
Usually basketball highlights show the player scoring watch a full game of him playing he is a great talent
DAMN this boy is SMOOTH! Cant wait to see him play next year at Kentucky
He got size, strench, fundamentals, intangibles, charisma, determination, passings skills, ragne, driving skills. He got it all.
that's one hell of a summer
Cant wait to watch him at UK. He going to be a great player for us. He can attack, take contact, IQ looks great. Only thing i see that could hold him back is that he doesnt look that fast, that could cause some problems running Cals playstyle with running the floor. but cant wait.
Pretty good, great finisher, he is a good shooter, his handles are sick. Definitely going to be a star at Kentucky
He's got good body control and has a great ability to take contact/alter shot in mid air, and looks like he can pass pretty well.
this kid puts his whole body into his dribbling and crossovers. what i have noticed lately is that way too many people rely on their upper body only, (arms, mostly) and forget about the footwork.
This man is a great finisher
lol funniest part is the beginning the dude think actually he locking up then get shifted
Big Blue Nation is going to love this one. Another one and done talent with great NBA future
This guy and Kasey Hill are on 2 different levels. Andrew is hands down the best in 2013
Very smooth.
yes it was. they played at the elite 24 midnight thing. its nba players vs highschool players at midnight 1 day every summer.
This is a fantastic highlight video from aaron harrison. Just cause its not all flashy dunks and 3s doesnt make this a bad video. It show cases his skills in almost every aspect! that smirk at 1:47
gets me evertime
Saw him once last year. I was in awe of his ability. Clearly the better of the twins. Both lack explosiveness, but he makes it up with his quickness and good decision making. Very smooth player imo.
Is it basketball season yet? CANT WAIT! BBN
his smirk still gets me every time i watch this 1:46
Terry rozier going to L'ville next yr, he's going to give the Harrison twins straight work! Look him up
Crazy that him and brother are top 5 in the nation
when i heard the harrison brothers were a pg/sg combo.. i was expecting something different. after this video they both just seem like a sg type. wish the vid was filled with more sick passes. thats what i like to see when i hear about a pg prospect
I've been longing to see a mixtape with mostly passes as a highlight.
ohhhh a crossover and hes NBA ready! wooo
Yes he is!!! that left arm extends a lot
y'all say every one is nba ready. lol
Damn they was wrong
They nba ready, teams gotta fit style of play, big strong guards that do what they do don’t fit every teams scheme. It’s not a matter of skill or ability with those guys.
Sent that dude like a linebacker on a blitz
I agree with you 100%. He only had about 6 or 7 passes in the whole video and none really made my jaw drop they were all pretty simple. Andrew seems like more of a swingman/slasher than a PG. Overall Hill is a better PG.
UK fan here, Wiggins is easily the best player in the country. KU's class is underrated because of the UK class, but I really do like UK's class.
Reminds me of D-Will both of them from Texas and both they both use their strength to bully their way to the basket lack that explosive first step.
He's great player possibly NBA ready, but I'm glad he took an extra step by going to College. I hope he learns what it takes to be in the NBA. He can be a big star
They both play like Joe Johnson to me, most def Aaron.. smooth, big guards
his spin move is nice
history lesson by flawless tracks
dis dude goes hard....damn
Very few High School players are NBA ready. For every Lebron, Kobe, and KG that comes out of HS I can name 3 draft busts that came out of HS. One of the main reasons the 1 and Done rule is in effect is for NBA teams to see these players dominate at the elite level because a lot of players can dominate HS but very few can dominate in College and the Pros
I don't know about NBA ready, but he has the potential for sure... Kids real nice
He is NBA ready from a physical standpoint. He's basically a longer Deron Williams not ultra quick but can just bully his way to the basket. Or if that's too high of praise just think of a Tyreke Evans but with a little better handle, little better jump shot and sees the floor better.
0:21 is a explosive first step and finish
Kasey Hill should be the #1 PG in 2013. Better court vision and just as explosive. Florida vs. Kentucky is going to be so fun to watch.
tbh this ballislife mixtape actually shows a lot of his skill, unlike the ones that show nothing but dunks
Just met him at the gym he is a really cool dude
Soooo whos gonna start.. Him or Harrow?
It is good for his play style, hes strong, he knocks down ever guard he plays agaist , he is strong, not slow.
Watched them both in the same tournament over the summer. Kasey Hill avg 9pts-3ast-4reb in 3 games. Andrew avg 19pts-7ast-9reb....There is no one IN COLLEGE right now that can keep Andrew out of the lane...

Damn this is crazy bc he’s playing in foreign leagues now. Really speaks about how tough the NBA can be
Not that hard to get there at this level but it’s hard to stay. situation is everything
@Deonis Torrealba covers same amount of ground because he is taller compared to a smaller lighter guard, footwork and getting good angles is more important than "footspeed" .
Aaron's mixtape is on the ballislife website
Wow!!! this kid is a pro
its different seeing a top 5 recruit that isnt an amazing athlete he doesn't really elevate or explode on the first step but is nice everywhere else
next year's draft class is going to be legendary tho
Kentucky back at it again. Good pick for the twins.
2 things,
1 if i ever said i could be somebody that probably means i think im better than him
2.he wasn't being sarcastic, he explained how and everything...nobody goes thru that much being sarcastic
Usually I wouldn't categorize by position but when i do I'd do all 5 standard ones
KU fan here--easily the best PG in the country.
i agree with the physical abilities, but this is him vs high school dudes you know what i mean... it's gonna be tougher at UK to do this stuff
while having to satisfy everyone else with touches... i hope for the best for this guy cus he seems very humble and composed on the court
The 2 Andrews. Cmon now.
How are there so many number ones ? Hill and Harrison?
he just threw a lob nd turned away 2:23 that was swag
yes it was. he shows up at one of their practices
who would win? Andrew Harrison and Andrew Wiggins or Aaron Harrison and Nick Wiggins?
What's the track playing during the video?
This dude is NICE! and another thing. either he plays for mad teams or his team just has mad jersey's
he's a smart pg making physical contacte with the DEF to draw in a misdirection
So are Randle and Parker and this draft class is going to be the bestsince 03 no doubt
this beat is so damn beautiful like WTF
i can see this dude being a top pick soon
he's not a forced PG Andrew's a natural PG and he's got good court vision
i like the way he plays but it's like watching it in slow motion
Haha at :09 Number 2 Was like "I got this! You aint........Aww shit"
Gosh, what is the name of this song?
Ballislife ? When the elite 24 highlights comin ?!
Dude's got mad skills. Can he hit the three-ball too? Most of these shots were of him driving to the rack.
Can someone list all the shoes that he was wearing in this video please thanks!
the kid at 2:50 deserved to get dunked on. look at his kicks. especially for basketball!
2014 Draft is loaded with stars
His speed is good. You see he aint having trouble dominating competition and he aint have trouble scoring on James Harden
At least we'll know he didn't just put on 1 pair of shoes and say, "Make me like Mike." :)
He is the total package right now. I mean he ready for the League. And Calipari only gonne improve him like he did with Wall, Knight and Teague. It ould be nice if he got the chance to pass to big Julius Randle i mean then 10 assist would be guaranteed per nyte
Holy crap, did he just score over James harden? CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS KENTUCKY CLASS TO COME IN...UK ALL DAY!!
Ohhh shit! Good eye, did not catch that.
He and is brother go to Kentucky? Oh maan them both are crazy!
that jumper on harden at 0.50 dirty
Wow, a lot of haters. People are saying he sucks but at least he is on some ballislife videos.
He already top 5 pick in some NBA mock draft.
I'm referencing the title. He is a great prospect.
nothing beats the Fab 5 in my opinion...last years Kentucky team was close...but the Fab 5 changed the face of college basketball...remember those short shorts? Yeah they changed that too...
Wats da name ov da instumental
was this a serious question, do you not know who calipari has coached?
He got that one crossover lol granted it working but yeaa
What beat is that?
