Don’t take ish down!!!! A lot of these vids are cautionary tales for the youth. Shit I wish I had someone like you in my corner, telling me where I’m fucking up at and what to do to get my shit together. Like you said, keep your eyes on the prize!!
Love your perspective and video, I cant stop watching. More more more, I knew a guy from the bronx named Julius hodge, I thought he was trash but ended up being ACC player of the year and I believe 14th or 15th pick in the draft. Go figure
i watch these vids, not as a professional athlete but as life lessons. There's alot of great lessons and information I've picked just watching this content
Great video & some good points but I know them personally & they are both doing very well financially because of the opportunities that basketball provided them. No growth stunted, they are a success story.
I seen one of them at roscoe chicken and waffles a few months ago really cool 😎 dude still has a chance to be a good guard in the league God bless both of them great 👍 brother way to disect their games
I was never high on the Harrison twins. Above average size guards in high school at 6’5” which was great marketing by Calipari. Slow, average speed at best.
Been with you since 1000 subs JC! Please please please, 🙏🏽 Do Terrell Taylor from Creighton! He's from my hometown and ended up on Magic Johnson's MTV show "Who's Got Game"? Afrer the show I have no idea what happened to him.
I think it comes down to roster fit, money moves, and injuries, nothing about ability and skills. Yes they could’ve improved and they still can, but that’s everyone, when the right opportunity comes they’ll show and prove, still very young may see them back in the NBA, you never know, but in my mind they’ve been successful as basketball players, and I believe that they’ll keep doing so.
I think it's worth noting that these guys stats took a dip because Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis came in, and that may have been thr deepest team in college history...or st least one of them.
So like, The Harrison Twins, their stats in college dipped in year 2 because of the "platoon" system. They had a bad attitude, and complained alot... they had subpar athleticism, and skills... but in college that really wasnt the case, they played less minutes, and still had nearly the same stats.
@@MaxPotentialGreatness He was in the dog house over something with Blair taking a loan and getting jewelry. I understand holding someone accountable but damn why ruin the man's career. Thiago Splitter is trash but all Pop cares about is his ego. Then the Spurs was about to lose to the 8th seeded Mavs because of Blair but Blair gets ejected for reacting to a call on some BS. I'm not perfect but see what a lot don't. You can check the plus minuses in that series.
Intro is too funny! Why these guys hating though? Most of your videos show love to these guys. They should be thanking you for mentioning them and making people remember who they were. And the younger guys should be motivated to get to or get back to the league.
Exactomundo... You know how it is nowadays, Everyone got a brand to protect. It's all love though. Someone has to say what's real and protect future generations from these mistakes while showing love and appreciation like you said.
Preciate that video bro, and aye, at least you said the name right 😂 These jokers made me mad at UK. Couldn't play no D for 2 years, and by the gods Aaron made some clutch jumpers in the tourney.
Hey man, while we're on Kentucky, do something on Wenyan Gabriel, his story is incredible. Where he came from, what he's had to overcome, what he represents in the larger scheme. Granite State stand up. Appreciate you.
Shaquille Johnson only could jump from the get go at the time if hoopmixtape and ballislife made a video for anyone the fans would instantly think they were future stars lol
1)They messed up by going to Kentucky and not fully developing because they were on an all star team. 2)They were not athletic And slow Inconsistent jumper
You doing a good job showing the real world of basketball. People believe the hype but don’t know the game. I see how the level is different watching games at the pro- am’s in the summer. So keep up the good work
Its nothing wrong with that but that type of ref is like the lowest ref thats not even aau ref bro damn life crazy if u dont believe me type in nycblackeges n see for yourself
Till this day I still remember how they beat us in the semi finals of the playoffs in high school. Ended up beating butler who we knew we could beat in that year. That was as probably the best year we had basketball wise at Westside. Back then you could tell they can get to the league but in comparison to ppl like Winslow it didn’t look like they would be there for the long haul with the skills they showed.
They were not Great at any single thing. Real good overall players. But I never thought either had a legit chance to have good NBA careers. Legends in high school tho!
the Harrison twins are exactly the reason why the OAD rule was made....after watching 2 sub standard seasons at UK, NBA teams were glad they got the chance to watch them BEFORE making the mistake of drafting them in the 1st round and giving them 10's of millions
One thing I notice about them they didn’t have elite nba quickness that’s the main thing that killed them. Karl Krauser getting a check overseas that’s why he ask for that. But he was just nothing but a floor general.
I have spent the past few days binge watching your videos, and your basketball IQ is unmatched. You have taken us back down memory lane with certain players who were studs in college and/or the NBA and simply a thing of the past today. Great work!!! P.S.- Your channel is like Unsung for former players.
BRA THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO IS EVRYTHING!!! 😂😂😂
I was laughing my ass off

😭lol the intro had me rolling

He got shot when playing for Denver nuggets. That definitely contributed to stunted growth.
Julius was nice....
William Avery Duke.....
Augusta ga 706

All gas no brakes, keep em coming JC.

Great video & some good points but I know them personally & they are both doing very well financially because of the opportunities that basketball provided them. No growth stunted, they are a success story.

What if they went to different colleges
U gotta do a video on the Stuart brothers from Rainier Beach in Seattle
I was never high on the Harrison twins. Above average size guards in high school at 6’5” which was great marketing by Calipari. Slow, average speed at best.
Goddamn 💀 you went ham in the beginning
I see and respect the type time you’re on so ima need one on Larry O’bannon from that 05 Louisville team with Sisco Garcia that went like 33-5
Larry O'Bannon wasn't stunted. He maxed out his potential.
Been with you since 1000 subs JC!
Please please please, 🙏🏽

He's from my hometown and ended up on Magic Johnson's MTV show "Who's Got Game"?
Afrer the show I have no idea what happened to him.

Waiting on Chris Allen next
Truth hurts more than anything else sometimes.
Please do Stephon Marbury
I think it comes down to roster fit, money moves, and injuries, nothing about ability and skills. Do Abdul Gaddy
Love the intro!!
A good coach would've made them both practice the same skills. A bunch of teams play 2 natural PG at the same time
I think it's worth noting that these guys stats took a dip because Devin Booker and Tyler Ulis came in, and that may have been thr deepest team in college history...or st least one of them.
Shabbaz Napier and Ryan Boatright ate their food in the National Title game
Karl Krauser asked you to remove his vid! Karl Krauser from Pitt? New York city PG?
So like, The Harrison Twins, their stats in college dipped in year 2 because of the "platoon" system. They had a bad attitude, and complained alot... they had subpar athleticism, and skills... but in college that really wasnt the case, they played less minutes, and still had nearly the same stats.

If your a former ball player at any level and hate on his videos your just in denial this guy provides facts not feelings
Facts
No one cares
We need a Dejuan Blair one too on God❗️
Popovich is overrated, that's what happened.
Only1 Cliff bro that year the spurs lost to the Heat back in 2013 or 14 . They should’ve gave dejuan blair more minutes

Who else was asking you to remove your content?
I like the disclaimer bro...Willie Mitchell and Wilfred Walton...or Jimmy King from the Fab 5
You should do Manny Harris from Michigan
Man Keith Appleton
Can you do Hollis price that played for Oklahoma University in the early 2000
Hollis Price is a success story, played overseas & is currently an Assistant Coach at University of Houston under his former OU Coach Kelvin Sampson
Kendall Marshall or Frank Williams
Do what on Donnell Harvey! He was a high school phenom back in the 90s. Had a long career overseas but never panned out in the league.
I think Trajan Langdon would be a good one
Preciate that video bro, and aye, at least you said the name right 😂
These jokers made me mad at UK. Couldn't play no D for 2 years, and by the gods Aaron made some clutch jumpers in the tourney.
The Kentucky team their 2nd yr was stacked. Really 9 to 10 deep, why I believe their stats took a hit. They should've went to UMD
The disclaimer caught me off guard 🤣
Nice video as always jc
They always looked like a couple of 40 years old players
Bro,
Problem #1 going to Kentucky. What player/s have developed under coach calipari? If you’re not already developed, you don’t improve at Kentucky.
They twins but they deff played diff styles
Sam Clancy University Of Southern California...
Clancy dad was a beast from Pittsburgh 6ft6 270 play center didn't make the NBA but played 7 years in the NFL
JC im in the comments with my AC LAW request!!!
Acie Law was that dude back in the day
Bro was a dog!
Patrick Ewing Jr?
Hey man, while we're on Kentucky, do something on Wenyan Gabriel, his story is incredible. Where he came from, what he's had to overcome, what he represents in the larger scheme. Granite State stand up. Appreciate you.
How would that be stunted growth though? He just made it to the league.
Do Shaquille Johnson next
Shaquille Johnson only could jump from the get go at the time if hoopmixtape and ballislife made a video for anyone the fans would instantly think they were future stars lol

Ohhhh shit!!! I forgot about these two brothers!! Damn that's crazy
You snapped on the intro
Thank you 🙏🏾🔥 for doing this one I really loved their game but I had a
Feeling their game wouldn’t translate.
What happens when all these 5 stars to to the same blue blood schools. Go somewhere where you can be the man while still competing
💯
Nope. Be around other talent. They excelled at Kentucky, just not necessarily built for the NBA.
@@jeremycole1513 exactly, it would've been worse for them if they went to different schools
BOY I SEEN SMUSH PARKER REFFING YESTERDAY
Its nothing wrong with that but that type of ref is like the lowest ref thats not even aau ref bro damn life crazy if u dont believe me type in nycblackeges n see for yourself

I’m a big fan of your videos! Keep going bro
What about a Brevin Knight video? That’s a throwback for you JC. We have similar basketball minds so I know that will give you a smerk
He had a pretty good career
They were not Great at any single thing. Real good overall players. But I never thought either had a legit chance to have good NBA careers. Legends in high school tho!
We need a video of Tyler Ulis , and Alex Poythress .
A friend of mine refereed a summer travel team game and told me they were all hype. I guess it showed.
They made it to the NBA, they weren't all hype at a summer travel league.
the Harrison twins are exactly the reason why the OAD rule was made....after watching 2 sub standard seasons at UK, NBA teams were glad they got the chance to watch them BEFORE making the mistake of drafting them in the 1st round and giving them 10's of millions
