Notice how the door opens slowly on the ground floor, but opens faster (normally) on the top floor. If an elevator door opens slower than usual, I believe it’s a sign that something is about to go wrong or is going wrong.
I thought I was hearing the motor and maybe it had a problem starting up or the motor kept failing to pump the oil in making it go up, and it tried the first time but gave up so I think the motor turned off and the door opened, then the elevator tried again but then started going.
What do you expect? It's Schindler's cheap model of lift/elevator, if the building owner wanted a better lift/elevator and it was Schindler, then he probably would choose the 5500 rather 330A.
I am guessing the interlock was failing, and the elevator detected a problem, and shut itself down. I don't hate Schindler. Though I would say Schindler MT might be one of the worst fixture lines made. The plastic feels very thin, and like it bends.
Perhaps, what I think happened was that the elevator motor was attempting to pump the oil into the ram, if you listen carefully when the door closes, you can kind of hear the motor. Then I think it was able to get some oil through to the ram and it started moving up.
Everything about this Elevator is nice and it’s tall too, but I think the Front Doors have some sort of problems like I think something might be blocking the doors which is causing them to open & close slowly a few times until it eventually broke😞.
This is clearly not a 321A. 321A can only go up to a maximum of two or three floors, always uses a single speed door, and it’s already discontinued in 2001. This elevator is a lot newer.

That is one crummy elevator. No wonder some elevator like that would want to act up. That would really need a lot of repair work.

1st floor outer door interlock not making electrical contact. You're lucky that didn't break when you were between floors.

The problem was caused by sensory problems. They won't go up bc they continusly detect people at the door although it'sc losed and noone's there.
