My cat is recovering from surgery and needs to stay calm, still and rest: This video is a blessing. My baby girl is focused more on this and less on her cone and stitches. ❤️🙏❤️

We won't let her suffer, we will do the proper thing when the time comes but she is a spunky old cat. lol, she just came up to me churring, I am going to miss her terrible one day but am blessed to have her now.
See now, I feel like if a cat falls asleep while watching this, then it's no good. Sleeping is just a cat's default state. So it's not like it's amazing to find something that puts them to sleep. Plus, that's not even the point of videos like this. The point is to give them a little bit of stimulation as if they were outside. Falling asleep means it's not working. If they explore, looking around for the birds or looking behind the TV/computer/cell phone for the birds, then I think it's a good video.

It was hilarious! But he's a smart boy, he got tricked once and he never did it again. But he still likes to watch it. 🐈💚

OMG......my cat is so interested. Keeps trying to look under tv shelf and behind looking for the birds. We have a sliding glass patio doors she watches birds squirrels visiting ducks etc. So I never thought to leave on bird channel. Today I thought I would see if she would watch. At first she just kept cleaning herself. Then I noticed her ears perk up and start to notice the tv. Then she came over to the tv and has been watching and inspecting for last 30 minutes. Fun! Can't wait to show my husband her reaction.

I put this on before leaving for work every day and my cats love it! Mittens always runs from wherever she's hiding at when she hears the distinctive whistle at the beginning of your videos. In fact, she has a preference for your channel, as she seems uninterested in any other cat TV channels.
I'm going to try this for my cat. He rarely looks at the tv so I usually just put on cartoons for noise. I think he may like this and try to knock the tv over. So I'm going to get it screwed down first. Thanks for the great content.

Yes, it’s best to keep kitties indoors for their safety and for the songbirds. However, some cats demand to go out, and will be unhappy and destroy stuff until allowed , and some situations necessitate allowing some cats to go out.
@@AH-cy4md Be unhappy and destroy stuff? You mean like a toddler having a tantrum because he's not allowed to play on a busy street? First, if a toddler is destroying stuff, you put him in a room with stuff that can't be destroyed, close the door and let him blow off some steam. Second, if a toddler is unhappy because he can't play on a busy highway, you don't just give in and let him anyway. Maybe you don't have children but I'd hope you wouldn't give in. And yes, cats ARE like our children. Cats that have never or rarely been outside don't cry to go out (or destroy things) and enjoy a safe, happy indoor like. Cats that have been accustomed to going outside can be trained to enjoy a happy indoor life. Giving in and allowing children to do as they please can have serious, life endangering consequences. The same holds true for our pets.
It was only after three years of pissing war with the other cats, attacking the other cats, trying everything we could find information about how to resolve the issues, including medication, that we gave in and started letting some go outside, and separating as needed indoors when unsupervised. It’s how we have had to deal with our “problem child” cat, because they’re our kids, and it’s for life.
