Try not to worry. Growing up in SoCal we had a pair of very tame and demanding wild Blue Jays who flew in our kitchen window every day to walk around inside. Beaky (female) had an overlapping beak from birth apparently, so Jay would feed her. So sweet and funny. Even when they hatched a plan to fly off with our neighbor's pearl necklace! !
I really enjoy watching the video's of birds as you can listen and examine without them getting afraid. I had to stop feeding my backyard birds as the neighbors cats yes plural were killing the doves. Now it may be safe since they moved them. I love my birds.
