We made this today with coconut oil because it's what we had on hand. It worked perfectly! Might try adding in cinnamon, hazelnuts, or even a little dark chocolate for a special treat!

+MsJcmJcm Someone noticed..She used too much oil and peanut oil is very rich. She'd have to use an emulsifier of some sort, cause there's also the honey in that mixture and it's not really combining.
And there's no need for oil..This is a tragic peanut butter and she tricked us.

Organic does not mean necessarily that there are no pesticides involved in the production. USDA approves the use of synthetic chemicals in organic crops - see the organic standards on their website. Some chemicals are approved for use in organic crops AND some "organic" pesticides in large quantities (sometimes because they're less efficient in controlling pests and diseases) are more harmful than synthetic ones in small amounts. As an agricultural engineer, I feel strongly about the subject and the kind of information we're putting forward. We have to be careful with what we say when you have thousands of people watching. I do see the value of buying organic, especially when you have kids and want to give them the safest food. However, conventional crops, grown the right way, are as safe to consume as organic crops.

(wrote with a translator) peanut butter becomes so viscous and thick due to the addition of honey or water, it is not necessary to add peanut butter, you can add regular sunflower oil the taste will not change

Making peanut butter is very easy. At the least you only need a jar of roasted peanuts and a blender. The hardest part is cleaning but cleaning is still easy, all you would need to do is fill the blender with water and blend it, then wash whatever you used to take the peanut butter out.

Thanks for the vid. I finally made my own! And it was/ is amazing. Its the best peanut butter I've ever had. If this batch is a 10, then the best I've ever had before this was a 2. They are night and day the home made vs store bought. I used peanuts from winco $1.50 a pound. My blender, honey, a pinch of salt, and some olive oil. I like mine crunchy/ creamy. Even the smell is mesmerizing. So thanks again for the tutorial

When I grind the peanuts, it'll stop spinning after a few seconds due to the bottom part being too thick. Took me ages as I had to stop every few seconds to clear it up and repeat the process. I used a normal blender.

I make hazelnut and cashew butter. I always toast them first, then process them in the food processor. I have never had to add oil to them as there is enough natural oil in the nuts, all you have to do is process them until the natural oils release themselves. You were too early to jar that butter.

Watch my last video, it's in Russian, but you can watch the process of making butter ( from the very middle of the video) it's almond butter I am making and I use nothing, but raw almonds. Almonds (and cashews) are more healthy than peanuts for everybody.

Never tried a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Maybe one day I will bring myself to giving it a go.

+nitelite78 I know, if you're not from the US, it just sounds like a horrible combination, doesn't it?
