You can see when Alya transfers to Japan school, she tells everyone that she has been in Japan some years before she moved back to Russia and then came again... When Alya’s family moved back to Russia, that’s when Mashachika’s childhood friend disappeared.

I didn't expeted that the whole flashback in Vladivostok will be in russian, lmao, i thought that they would just speak japanese and we would have to assume that they speak russian, but they did commit to this all the way, that i can respect. Even if most of the extras butchered their lines, lmao, but at leas Sumire give it all as Alya, she speaks better and better with each episode. And hand writing in her notebook was so well made, it was coherent, made sense and beautifully made. In any language hand writing is harder than printed one, so i commend them for this. And they did skip Alya and Masachikas dance in the end of flashback, which is really odd and sad.
Yeah childhood Russian girl is clearly Masha and not Alya. She recognized him based on his name and the pic she has in the locket is him as a kid and her "boyfriend" Saa-kun is 100% Masachika. I LOVED that she immediately tested him by speaking Russian and smiled when he acted like he didn't understand. She 100% knows its him and knows he's trying to hide understanding for her sisters sake. This is gonna be so good as it goes longer and longer...
Our boy Kuze knows the secret. Work smarter, not harder. He can get sh*t done by using the resources at his disposal. Alya tries to brute force her way through by trying to master everything
I dont really know fully what Kuze and Yuki's family situation. Ive seen nuggets from manga readers in regards to the parents careers that they're both highly involved in business. However, in episode 1 Kuze's friends mentioned Yuki being a heir so maybe the mom is more upper class than the dad and so if Yuki was sick and needed treatment maybe Kuze decided it would be better for him to go with the dad so Yuki wouldnt feel obligated to leave her mom. Thats my theory but oh boi what they're probably setting up with the sisters is spicy and messy and Im here for it.
Let's go! But yeah, simple enough to see to see where her feelings start shifting around, being curious, being interested or when she started crushing on your male lead. I do prefer where we get to see the different buildups of how the romance interests feelings start changing and altering based off actions or inactions.

Personally, I am not sure how anyone could claim it's "obvious". The flash back girl literally had blond hair and blue eyes which doesn't match either of them. Aylas has blue eyes so I figured maybe somehow her hair turned white, but even that's a stretch to me so I figured it probably was just a totally different girl. The only way this is going to make any sense with Ayla's sister being the girl is if his memory is garbage. I can understand not remembering her name, maybe even eye color... but hair color?... really? Even I can remember friends hair color from my elementary school class and I am in my late 30s. (Side note, I have doubts that she dyes her hair or wears contacts even though that technically could also be an explanation.) Still, obvious? I don't think people understand what that word means.

Turned out, this line right here should have been Russian. 8:14 The manga calls her "ultra-high specs" in the little side panels 9:01 Actually, Kaze is the one who figures out that "Alya" would be the correct nickname. 10:06 And, wow...they left out the crazy ass dancing they did, like it was a dance-off. The crowds' commentary and Alya's internal monologue really drove home how she ended up seeing Kaze. A real shame it ain't in the anime. 11:02 After this, Masha ends up giving Alya advice about feeling towards a partner, and Alya has her sister put on her sock for her to see how it feels. It was VERY different from Kaze doing it. 11:04 Before going to the Council to meet the President, the manga has Kaze and his sister texting about being otaku for the glory and blessing of breasts, and then more leg-fetishist stuff happens bewteen Alya and Kuze. 12:12 I love the contrast of Masha being honest with what she said in Russian. I'm sure a bunch is different from the LN. That's a lot harder to go through, since I have those in audio files. Still, what was in the manga made the story feel way more intimate.
