- The B-Side to the 'Just Like Gold' debut single from Aztec Camera in 1981 with a different and more simple arrangement to the version that appeared on 'High Land, High Rain'. Enjoy!
Saw Roddie playing this in a curry house in the west end. He must have been barely 16.Love this song so much. Was so pleased when the Aztecs made it. Roddie is one of the world's great guys.
What a beautiful song; although when I listen to it I can't help thinking, where did my life go so wrong...I guess it's just in the movies where dreams come true.
What does that have to do with this song?
I love this song, Amazing to think Roddy was only a teenager when he penned this one....
Mr. Frame deserves fame and fortune.
A great version - I love the bass behind the melody... Always a great song.... lovely key changes ..
Had it. Bought at Rough Trade, SF. Oh, such wonderful days! Thanks for posting!!
Such grown up sentiments from such a young man
Love this take with its own rhythm and all...
heaven xxxxxxxxx
What a fantastic song! Probably Roddy's best...
it came out, of course;
If Roddy wrote this now, would it be We Could Send Text Messages?
That's how you do a B Side.
Wunderfull; I bought this single when it came it over here in Brussels; Saw them twice in Brussels; Très très bien; ps Where the blue cat banging on his/her drum?
Doesnt have the syndrums. This may be the greatest song ever.
famous people from E.K, as well as the Hunters. Ally McCoist, Lorraine Kelly, Blythe Duff, John Hannah, Kirsty Young, Marc Warren (professional golfer ) One of the best shopping centres in Scotland . Unemployment rates are far less than Glasgow or even the national average.. What happened, did some East Kilbride woman dump you?
@spats67 And where do you live?
The Hunter brothers who were physicians for their contribution to medicine? They also came from EK
He refuses to release this on CD.
There's a whole bunch of them like this (I used to have a tape of them), including pillar to post, green jacket grey, and spirit shows.
アップテンポですね。アルバムバージョンのしっとりしたやつの方が好きです。
The Beatles / Monkees version of this song. There is no bad version of this song though this is less romantic than other versions
it's too fast
great songs of A C's early days. Pity he sings like a phony American now. You're from East Kilbride, Glasgow, Roddy, NOT Holywood!
What rubbish, people's styles and voice change and mature over the years. He was a teenager then, he's a much older guy now. His voice is still amazing.
