Review of Starbucks Nespresso compatible pods, Dark Espresso flavor. The Starbucks in UK contain the same amount of coffee and comparable quality. Made in the same European factory. The price in most supermarkets can be 1/3 the price of actual Nespresso. The amount of coffee in the Nespresso and Starbucks are both much less than the Nespresso Vertuo pods which have around 7.5gram. However this system has many drawbacks.

You are right on many accounts although here in the U.S., Starbucks Nespresso compatible pods are not that much cheaper. Sometimes they're about the same, sometimes maybe 20-25% cheaper on sale. To your point, the pods in the classic nespresso compatible pods only contain 5 grams of coffee. So to get 2 shots from them you basically need 3 pods!

strage that in uk capsules cost to much in italy compatibile cost from 0.12 cent and original nespresso are 0.49 cents max

I agree, the Nespresso capsules and even Starbucks Nespresso capsules are expensive in the U.S. comparatively. Perhaps it has something to do with import taxes or shipping. But then again, you'll see I have a review of Nespresso Compatible pods made in Italy and they are around 30 cents U.S.D!

Can you still use these capsule w out the nespresso machine? I like to make frappe’s at home .. and bought these ones on accident

I'm afraid these Starbucks capsules will only work with Nespresso Original line machines. Although it is theoretically possible to puncture the tops of the Starbucks pods and try to empty out the contents/grinds into a porta-filter from a traditional espresso machine (you would need approximately 3 capsules for a double shot), I fear it would be very messy, it would be difficult to fully empty all the grinds from the tiny pods, etc. It would be more hassle than it is worth. If you can return them, that is your best bet. If you can't, perhaps you can gift them to someone you know who has a Nespresso Classic machine, and just think to yourself, "give and thou shall receive".
