I absolutely love the energy and passion you bring with every single video! Stating "another great video" just seems to miss the mark even though it truly is "another great video"! Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge and expertise!
Great technique! I’ve tried intersects before but not with a linear gradient as I expected the whole foreground corner to be selected and not just the original subject mask. This I will steal😊
as always, thanks for the effort and sharing. i am an appreciative subscriber. i have never used the intersect tool but this demo is a great place to start. thumbs up.
Brilliant. One of my most favourite tools in processing apps is the masking and how amazingly far advance and precise LR has come since the last standalone version. Thanks for sharing that Glyn. One thing that has nothing to do with this tutorial but is it me or have others noticed that car designers still design them in 2025 like a 1980’s music centre on wheels?
Very helpful. Could you have duplicated car 1, save time by not having to do some of the initial masking steps and continue the 2n car edit? Enjoyed the video. Thank you
Yes definitely could have duplicated it. I tend not to as often. tiomes the settings I don't want duplicated ... just the mask, but yes ... in this case it could have been duplicated. I guess not doing so in this video meant I showed the technique twice 👍🏻
Thank you . Curious …do you use Lightroom in preference to Lightroom Classic these days please ? How much Adobe Cloud storage do you have too ? Thanks and best regards
Yeah I use Lightroom Desktop over Classic these days. As for storage ... not that much as I store files locally and only ones in the cloud are in portfolios.
Wonderfully usefull tutoial as ever. Wouldn't it be much faster to simply duplicate the existing car 1 mask instead of doing it from scratch? Just a small workflow improvement I feel.

Another excellent video mate, really useful (will be sharing with the class) and professionally presented as usual. Thanks so much for sharing 😎😎😎
Thank you mate ; really appreciate that
Thanks Glyn, this has definitely improved my understanding of the intersect function.
Great to hear 👍🏻
Very good. Thanks. That's given me more useful tips to play around with.
Glad to hear it's helpful 👍🏻
Very good video, very clear. Loads of uses e.g. also for shadows on skin of people shots. Thank you!

If I duplicate the mask it duplicates the settings. Agreed … in this case that would have worked for sure but as a habit I tend not to 👍🏻
I guess (although not intentional) it meant I was able to show the technique twice too 👍🏻
@@glyndewis yeah, agreed. But, as a software developer I'm always thinking of minimizing the effort. Old habits die hard 😉
@@glyndewis for more complex masks it would be faster to reset the adjustment. Here, indeed, the difference wouldn't be that great but it is an option
