Thank you! I have purchased 3 of your systems - one with GP200, one with the Moly - MoS2, and now a Lithium. This was very helpful.

I have a Troy Built riding mower that calls for Benalene 920/0 grease for the single-speed transmission. It takes 19 oz. @ about $30.00 for 8oz. What grease can I use that is less costly. Thanks

So this has bugged me: John Deere recommends the following for the 1025r.
Loader: SD Polyurea Grease Backhoe: Moly High Temp EP Grease Mower: SD Polyurea Grease
So would it be best to use your grease in this manner: Loader: P100 Backhoe: G200 or MoS Mower: P100
The backhoe is a little confusing as moly is MoS, but it says EP grease which is the G200. So which would be better? Can I get away with just using one of these greases? Can I use MoS all around?

You are correct in your crossover greases from JD to AirTec. G200 EP would be a good all-around grease. A lot of times it is not recommended to use a moly grease in high-speed bearings. We do offer another grease called Li400, it is an ultra-performance grease that has an excellent EP rating, higher temp rating, and is great for low and high-speed bearings/bushings. If you are looking for one grease to use Li400 will meet and exceed all the OEM requirements.

Hi. Brilliant vid ! Can you help ? I can't find the answer to this anywhere, even John Deere won't reply to my questions,I use a polyurea grease that John Deere market, called SD polyurea,I also use their standard lithium called hd lithium complex, both provide adequate thermal protection for my operations, I'd like to just drop one high temperature grease ,just use the SD polyurea and a basic lithium for general farm implements.
My question is,on the machines that have the John Deere hd lithium complex in,what would happen if I then used the polyurea grease on same machine? Both high temp which I need for my corn dryer, but obviously different thickeners.
When I replace the bearings on my corn dryer, I packed them with the high temp lithium complex, but would like to switch over to just the SD polyurea, what would be the outcome? Will stay as I am if it's a problem. Thank you ☺️

Great Question. Polyurea greases are rarely compatible with other greases that are thickened with anything other than polyurea. What happens is that the polyurea and other thickener (lithium, calcium, etc) and will cause the oil to separate from the thickener. The result is the oil runs out of the bearing and the thickener remains, which can cause issues as the thickener can get hard. However, some polyurea greases are rated "Shear stable" and are compatible with lithium and calcium, but we do not believe this is the case with the SD polyurea john deere grease. You can definitely switch to a high temp multipurpose, but we recommend cleaning the bearings prior or try mixing the grease you have with the grease you want to switch to---if they oil separates out in a couple of weeks you know they are not compatible, if the oil does not separate out you know at the least the two greases are semi-compatible.

@@aetsystemsinc.1413 wow that's such a brilliant explanation. Thanks so much ,after hearing all that, I would rather spend 30 pounds on another grease gun and keep everything as it is ,it's only a few tubes a year ,sounds like on something like a crop dryer, high temps ect, would be not worth risking. Thanks very much for explaining 😊

@@stevebearing_72how did it go? I’m also looking to use less on more for my implements. I have a fel with lift arms that I service as well and would like to keep from switching if at all possible, I’m handicapped and less is more as far as efficiency of motion.
