That’s what happens when you let jagmeet Singh and Trudeau lead a country. Wondering who put them in power as they are totally uneducated in leading a country, they both have ZERO accountability and only care for their interests. Someone said each country deserves their government.
A lot of this is because the States has large deficits in the form of capital investments as well as a bit of a wildcard leader. Canada is more boring and didn't become as independent of the States as they could have been
@JessT-vg7ib I understand that you are a liberal, you like to live in poverty. You like to raise the "cost of living," inflation, crime and homelessness. That is your version of Canada. My version of Canada is we will "Axe the Tax" build the homes, balance the budget, and stop the crime!
@anthonyjk it doesn't. Dems have been juicing the economy with fiscal debt as well as Republicans by lowering corporate taxes. Strengthening the dollar against all other currencies.
@anthonyjk it'll be complicated, but it's because we are a major trade partner with them. Large deficits at the federal level can spur investment, especially the short-term kind. Depends what they buy with those deficits as well, and then that will suck investment dollars from liquid markets into the hot economy
It will move lower as long as Justine and Jagmeet are wasting our money and taxing the hell out of us!
Trudeau has done SO much damage

Trudeau make Canada Great (debt) again.

No he hasnt.
@@JessT-vg7ib Yes he has ! Where have you been living, under a rock ?
The Canadians will vote for the Conservative Party in 2025. If the Conservatives win a majority government, they will make some changes.
I hope Trudeau wins.

Yep, more business friendly and less social equity. Even if it was the Conservatives that first brought in the child benefit.

This is not just a Canadian problem but other countries facing the same issue. The exception in the USA.
No way

Thanks you for the cheer leaders begging for rate cut since day one the BOC start the rate hike..and now we are suffering your’s consequences 👎👎👎
Big Short 2
Mostly due to the US unrestrained deficit problem. At least Canada is making efforts to level off its deficit.
How does my neighbour affect my debt?
@anthonyjk it doesn't. Dems have been juicing the economy with fiscal debt as well as Republicans by lowering corporate taxes. Strengthening the dollar against all other currencies.
What effort? The current government just blew %50 over the fiscal guardrail of 40 billion dollars.
Yeah, looking at the yield spreads between the two countries, investors have decided that Canadians are more fiscally conservative
